“Worth every penny”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Salvia and how well it is run by Patrick and Sasha. It truly made our stay in Soller an absolute pleasure. We stayed in the Deia Junior Suite for 3 nights. Very large space with very nice furnishings. The garden / pool view from the room is just perfect.

Some highlights about the property:
- Fresh breakfast is included every morning which you get to enjoy outside amongst the flowers
- Small number of rooms keeping things very personal and quaint
- Self-service beverage counter that runs on the honour system. If you get thirsty, just just top your drink up, write down what you took, and settle everything up with Patrick and Sasha at the end of the trip.
- Dinner at their restaurant was amazing. After 18 days traveling Spain and France their meal remained one of the highlights.
- The staff was always readily available to help recommend something whether it be a nearby restaurant, a hike, trolley ride, beach visit, or whatever else you may want to inquire about.

All in all a very enthusiastic 5 stars for this hotel. I would recommend it to ANYONE who plans on visiting Soller. It was a very laid back and quiet/soft spoken atmosphere. Seemed everyone was there to relax and enjoy their surroundings. Not sure what the official or unofficial policy is on kids as there were none there while we visited. Only reservation I had when I first booked this place was the cost but after staying in a number of other places throughout Spain and France during the rest of our 18 day vacation I later realized that Hotel Salvia was worth every penny and more. I'd go back tomorrow if I could.

Room Tip: Only saw the Deia suite which has a garden/pool view so can't speak for the rest. If quailty is...

We have just spent a week in this lovely unique hotel. It is tucked away in a quiet street in Soller approached by the wonderful Vintage train from Palma or by road. It is run by Patrick and his partner Sacha and a lovely staff and they do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfasts on the terrace are superb and memorable, with amazing choice. This is matched this year by dinner served 4 times a week. Service is impeccable and the food tempting and delicious. The pool is a place of such tranquility set in beautiful gardens tended lovingly by Sacha and his helpers. We met and enjoyed the company of quite a few of our fellow guests all of whom had either stayed before or will stay again, just like us. Thank you Hotel Salvia.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely and unique.

A beautiful setting matched by great food and wonderful friendly service. A cycling friend and I spent 4 days at Hotel Salvia inJune and could not have hoped for a better base to do - primed by a most delicious breakfast, we returned to the peace of the pool and the terrace...and the excellent dinner prepared by Julio. A very welcoming, friendly and attentive team led by Patrick and Sasha made it a sheer pleasure to spend a few days at this lovely hotel.

Just back from a lovely 10 day break at Hotel Salvia. This small 7 room Hotel sits in lovely grounds where Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is served. Dinner is presently served 4 nights a week. We really cannot fault any aspect as Patrick and Sasha and lovely local staff really look after their guests. Food at Dinner was excellent and they make every effort to attend to guests dietary requirements. The swimming pool is of a good size and the area surrounding is a very relaxing place to spend time. Soller is an excellent base for walking and is only a 30 minute drive from Palma

Having just spent two weeks in beautiful Soller we were delighted to hear that Hotel Salvia has recommenced evening meals. We booked a table for four in their gorgeous courtyard setting and enjoyed, what can only be described as, a perfect meal. From starters which included a poached egg flower on purple mash, to suckling pig and a magnificent looking whole fish, to their deserts which included their version of an ensaimada which was utterly sublime. Service from the charming Sasha and Patrick was flawless and the table d'hote menu was superb value. Wish we lived nearby, they wouldn't be able to get rid of us! One of the highlights of our holiday.

We have travelled extensively both in Europe and Worldwide and have only once before experienced such a perfect break, we stayed for 7 nights and our hosts Patrick and Sasha were great nothing was too much trouble and their advice and guidance was spot on. The rooms are traditional and very comfortable, the gardens well kept and provide a peaceful haven to relax, the pool has very comfortable loungers and large parasols and just to lie back and take in the views is great, the food is superb and we ate in every time they did dinner which is 4 times per week, lunches were equally as good and available every day. The hotel was a town house which has been adapted into a hotel and done extremely well whilst still keeping the original style of the house. Extremely good value for money and we cannot wait to return next year.

Room Tip: We had the Tramunta suite on the 1st floor which had wonderful views of the mountains, the stairs ar...
