We stayed at Ca's Curial at the end of 2 weeks in Spain. It was a great place to unwind and relax after seeing the sights (and the city pace). We had a junior suite (room #1), and it as very nice. They arranged for an extra bed for our 13yo daughter too.

Breakfast -- good. Great OJ
Dinner -- we ate one night. Very good. Good value
Rooms -- perfect
Pool -- very nice. Wifi by the pool too.
Service -- nice!

All good. We arranged for scooter rental, and that turned out to be a great way to explore the mountains and nearby villages.

Room Tip: rooms by the pool are more convenient.

What a great place this is. Set amongst the orange trees, this idyllic finca is totally peaceful, and you might be up in the mountains - yet its just ten minutes walk to the pleasant main square in Soller, with its restaurants and bars. Arriving in the early hours after a delayed flight, we nevertheless received a warm welcome from Andreas senior, and found our ground floor suite to be spacious and cool. The pool area has plenty of shady areas around it, and never seems busy. Very nice lunches can be prepared to order, as there is a set menu in the evenings (we took this once, but to be honest there is a good variety in Soller, and we prefer to experiment). We shall definitely be back.

This was our first holiday to Soller, before we left I emailed Andreas to ask about getting a taxi organised. We promptly received an email back and a transfer was arranged. Upon arrival at the airport, there was our transfer waiting for us - so our arrival at Ca's Curial was as swift as possible. Andrea jr was there to greet us, we had fresh orange juice and when we went to our suite - we were very pleasantly surprised. What a beautiful room, so spacious, nicely fitted out and with everything you need. The cleanliness of the rooms is very high - we are quite fussy but had nothing to complain about here. And just let me mention, the beds, the most comfortable that I have ever slept in beside my own....

We went into Sollar town, there is a Spar very close by - so easy to put anything u like in your mini fridge if you want to.

The whole hotel is amazing, when you stay on the grounds for the day it's so tranquil and peaceful - you feel like you are on the edge of the world. A great place for a real good relaxation. We walked into town most days to sit in one of the many bars and take in the wonderful town atmosphere, people watching, enjoying the tram going through the town and taking some of the wonderful ice cream to wonder back to the hotel.

There are some great walks to be done if that is your thing, we choose not to on this holiday but the views and mountains are amazing.

We didn't actually eat in the hotel other than breakfast - which we have to say was beautiful, but the guest who we spoke to that had eaten there had said it was good food.

There are various restaurants in Soller, two of them were our favourite, a bit more expensive than most of them but we felt worth it:
SaCova - situated where the tram enters the town from the port - can recommend the Hake, amazing
La Vila - situated opposite the church in the corner - amazing fish dishes and recommend you ask to sit in the garden, a full dinning experience awaits you....

We will definitely be back to Soller and Ca's Curial

A beautiful finca surrounded by orange groves with the mountains as a backdrop, provided a lovely stay. Short walk into the small town of Soller & a 5 min drive to the port make it nice and accessible, but be sure to hire a small car as the streets of proper mallorca are tiny!

Be sure to visit fornalutx and the Ca'n Verdera restaurant (will cost around 100 euro for 2, but worth it), lovely views and some great well thought out food.

Room advice: maybe don't opt for the rooms closest reception as you will be woken up by loud voices that bounce off the terracotta tiles... we stayed in number 3 for the last night however and slept like babies.

Breakfast at the hotel is more than adequate, if you are after a full cooked to order english breakfast then go somewhere else, they do provide some of the best croissants and orange juice that I think we've ever tasted!

Theresa & Andreas provide some good advice on the front desk and are always happy to help.

All in all a great relaxing stay, a real gem in a genuine setting.

Due to the French Air Traffic controller's strike, our flight to Nice was cancelled, along with our holiday plans. Having had such a wonderful holiday here last year, we contacted Andreas to see if there was any last minute availability at Cas Curial. The hotel was fully booked, but he offered us one of their houses, Ca'n Pons to us instead. We had the run of a beautifully restored 4 bedroomed farmhouse that sits amid it's own orange groves, has a beautiful pool and is a 10 min stroll from the town. Our stay was fantastic. We sat by the pool looking at mountains and watching birds of prey soaring on the thermals and picked oranges every day that we juiced with the electric juicer in the kitchen. There is also a huge terrace on the first floor, again with stunning mountain views and the perfect place to lunch and relax with pre-dinner drinks before walking into town for our evening meals.
We didn't want to leave!

This was a fabulous stay. The house is gorgeous, the property spectacular, the owners so welcoming and a wealth of information . We could not have had a better stay. We stayed in a suite(I think room 6) and had lovely views, lots of room etc. Breakfast was so beautiful in the garden and very tasty. Sitting by the pool with the views of the mountains and of course the orange grove.. just couldn't have been better.. Thank you!!!

We stayed for a week at Cas Curial in early June. The setting is really beautiful with gorgeous orange trees, beautifully tended grounds full of flowers, a splendid pool and all with the backdrop of the spectacular Tramuntana mountain range. It's lovely if you want peace and quiet but just a short stroll to the town square. The family who run the house are fantastic and helped us with detailed information and maps on a whole range of walks; they also booked restaurants and helped order taxis as well as regularly offering us some fresh orange juice! Breakfasts were GREAT with loads and loads of choice and available between 8.30 and 11am.

To give a bit more of a "feel" for the place....when we stayed, the majority of guests were English couples between the ages of about 38 and 70 who were on holiday. It's very popular with hikers. It's tranquil and might be a little too relaxed for kids - although no doubt the family owners would go out of their way to accommodate them. It has a feeling of relaxation rather than out and out luxury - there aren't hoardes of staff to look after you. That was super for us but if you're looking for whistles and bells attention then maybe look elsewhere.

Were there any downsides? Well, a few nights the air conditioning was not switched on (it's centrally controlled). This was fine initially but as the temperatures reached 32 degrees, we really needed the air con!

We would absolutely go back - this lovely finca and North Western Mallorca have SOOOO much to offer.
