Just back from a lovely stay in Mallorca at this lovely family fun boutique hotel & restaurant. Absolutely pampered by Andres (Senior and Junior), Theresa and Mum. They really could not do enough for us. Lovely room (really a suite), full service, very clean with coffee and minibar, beautiful gardens, citrus orchard and a lovely pool. Please do not take your children as it would ruin the atmosphere. There are only 9 rooms, the pool side and bar are very tranquil and perfectly landscaped. Only a short walk from town, with a tram ride to the port on a wonderful restored tram, and plenty of great restaurants. The hotel serves a full continental breakfast, fresh juice and a very intimate, lovely dinner for guests on an 'on request' basis at a very reasonable additional charge. A great place to go and re-charge your batteries. Each room is different, we were in Room 1 which was on ground floor and had an outside terrace, very quiet and very private. Fully equipped with cable TV and WIFI which worked most of the time. Overall, very highly recommended and I will go back.

Room Tip: Each room is very different; highly recommend Room 1 as it is not in the main house, and hence priva...

My husband and I recently stayed at Ca's Curial and had the most wonderful holiday. The hotel is absolutely fabulous, is spotlessly clean, the breakfasts are fantastic and our stay was made even more special by the extra touches that Andreas and family give. They are all very polite, friendly and helpful and Andreas (jnr) cannot do enough to make your stay a memorable one. Also special thanks to Theresa for her excellent cocktails!! Soller and the surrounding area is beautiful and it is worth hiring a car to go further afield to visit this beautiful island. Pollenca is well worth a visit. Ca's Curial is the most relaxing and tranquil hotel we have ever visited and we can't wait to return. A very special thanks to all the family and staff who made our stay so memorable.

Having failed to get the dates we wanted in July 2012 we made certain for this year by booking earlier. Was it going to live up to our expectations? The answer is a resounding yes. From the moment you enter the gates to the grounds of the hotel you just know there's something special waiting. The family who own and run the hotel are wonderful friendly people who can't do enough for you. The room we had was superb with a large comfortable bed (I've never slept so well for a long time), the balcony had the sun all afternoon and evening and became a haven for a G&T whilst taking in the views of the hotel's lush gardens and the mountains in the distant. Pool area was spotless with wonderful comfortable loungers and sun shades, as well as natural shade from the trees. We ate dinner in the hotel twice and had no complaints at all. Likewise, we had lunch on a few occasions which was also fantastic. The walk to Soller town is 10 minutes where we found some fantastic eating places (ca'n Boqueta and casa Alvaro to name but two). Mallorcan wines are also worth trying. For us we had a perfect holiday and we have no negative comments regarding our stay. Will we return to ca's Curial.........most definitely. My wife and I have just spent a delightful week at Ca's Curial in Soller. This delightful and very peaceful 9-bed hotel is a wonderful place to spend some time. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is set in lovely grounds, in the middle of orange and lemon trees and surrounded by mountains. It is a pleasant 30-minute drive from Palma.

The family who run the hotel are charming and really could not have done more to make the stay perfect. The breakfasts are lovely and on the one evening we ate in the hotel, we had a lovely paella.

The property is only a gentle 10-minute walk to central Soller, a most attractive town with many eating places including a couple of very good tapas bars. A tram service takes you to Port Soller in 20 mins, with its beach and lovely marina. Many good restaurants here as well.

There are a number of lovely places to visits, Deia and Valdemossa being two favourites (but you ideally need a car for these).

A delightful and relaxing holiday - we will return.

Room Tip: Most rooms seem to be very nice, but some have an upstairs balcony, which would be our preference.

We stayed at the C'as Curial for a week in June.

It was perfect break. The finca is fautless. We stayed in room 5 which did not have a balcony it was a standard double, this was more than adequate.

We had a lazy week, except for a day trip to Palma and as most people whent out for the day most days there was hardly anyone near the pool.

The setting is lovely too, amongst the orange groves.

The breakfast was really good, a great choice, different fruit each day and various types of bread, cooked food etc. Not to mention lots of orange juice which can often be a bit lacking at some hotels! We ate in a couple of times and the food was very good.

The only small issue was the air conditioning which didn't seem to be very cold, it wan't too much of a problem for us but it could be when the temperature rises.

A lovely family who made you feel very welcome.

If we return to Soller we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here - didn't quite live up to the expectations of the other reviewers, but it was nevertheless very lovely. The finca is in a quiet spot in Soller - just 10 minute walk to the centre of town, and we could walk to the beach in 35 minutes (there is a tram for the less active). The scenery is very pretty, and the property is well maintained with lots of seats around the pool. The pool could get a bit dirty during the day as various bugs and leaves etc fell in it (the occasional massive beatle!), but not much they could do about that.

Our biggest gripe would be with the room we were given: the actual room was lovely, very big with a separate living area and massive patio. However it was right by the reception (number 4) and every morning at about 8am we'd be privy to the conversations the other guests were having with the family working on reception. This isn't an exaggeration, we could every word and every stomp up and down the stairs. It did destroy the peace somewhat and left us feeling a bit exposed (if we could hear them, could they hear us!).

Having stayed in the Port on our previous visit to Soller (in the Esplendido), we preferred staying inthe town as there is a lot more to do there, so I would definitely recommend staying in Soller and visiting the Port by day.

The family that run the place were all very friendly and helpful - and the place is spotless.

Room Tip: AVOID ROOM 4 - very noisy in the morning and you feel a bit overlooked/overheard!

Take your revenge on everyday life and stay at this small family run Finca/Hotel.
When I read previous tripadvisor comments I couldn't believe a place could be so good, but it most certainly is.
It is situated in Sóller but hidden away amongst beautiful gardens. The pool area is an oasis of peace and quiet. It has plenty of sun lounges both in and out of the shade.
We stayed in suite 6 which is absolutely gorgeous. It is on two levels, the bedroom area is slightly raised, however easily accessible by only 5 steps.
It has a very useful sun room/sitting room that opens up onto a balcony area. The large glass doors can be slid open and also a side window so a cooling through draft can be created.
The sun is on the balcony in the morning, so later in the day it can be a very pleasant and useful place to be.
The bed linen is lovely, the type you would buy from The White Company, the towels were changed every day. Even pool and beach towels were provided.
The cleaners were very quick and efficient, the whole place is spotless.
Breakfast was lovely and can be taken underneath the very stylish and new conservatory.
The whole place has a very special atmosphere, all the staff (and I really do mean all), including the cleaners, caterers, gardeners and even the fruit pickers were very friendly and always helpful. This was not the false friendliness you experience at other hotels; people really do appear to be enjoying their work.
A poolside menu is available from 13.00 to 15.00 except on Saturdays. Evening meals are a set menu.
You can walk to the centre of Sóller easily in 10 minutes and a well stocked Spar shop is less than 5 minutes away.
We recommend hiring a car, although you can survive without one. Deya is a very special place to visit; it has an excellent Italian restaurant, raised up on the left hand side just after The La Residencia Hotel.
We have stayed at many small hotels on the island over the years, some with ‘Classic Collections’, and some with ‘Castaways’, this one is by far the best.
I will take this opportunity to point out what we consider to be the worst; The Hotel Valdamossa easily stands head and shoulders above the rest as positively awful. (Well that was our experience), moving on.
We have been looking for quite some time now for a holiday destination that we can return to year after year and finally we think we have found it.
The coffee machine in the room is a BOCH Tassimo, the spar shop does not sell the cartridges.
The new large TV has English channels.(a total first for us). also you have total control of the air conditioning, it's not centrally controlled.
We do not think this hotel is suitable for children.
Port de Sóller is only a short tram ride (€5.00) and well worth a visit. It has had some money spent on it recently and even new sand on the beach.
The train to Palma is interesting; (€19.50 return) however we got off the train in Palma, took one look and got back on for the ride back to Sóller, it was far too busy for us and not our kind of thing.

THANK YOU ALL FOR A VERY SPECIAL HOLIDAY. We hope to see you again soon, Dunroamin!
Best wishes Maggy and Trevor.

Room Tip: I would recommend suit 6 as the sun room is more useful than just an open balcony. Lots of people li...
