On our tour through the Ebro valley we lunched at Sant Carles. The menu was OK but offered no choice for a vegetarian. The fish I chose was very small and only accompagnied by 2 potatoe slices . When I asked for dessert the pastillets de Tortosa, they weren't available. I bought them later in a bakery 2 minutes from the restaurant!!! The poleo-menta was a shame. The water was lukewarm and the cup only half filled.
It is the first time in more than 30 years visiting restaurants in Spain I was truely disillusioned.
I give a average quotation because the menu , my husband took, was OK and the water and wine were included in the menu price.
