This place is just amazing. The castle-fortress has been beautifully converted into a first grade hotel. The decor is brilliantly chosen to make the most of the historic context. The views of the parador from a distance and from the top are exceptional and dwarfs everything around it. The room was comfortable and well appointed although not large. Food was the best of the several paradors we visited. There is a lovely outdoor bar/informal restaurant as well as the regular dining room. The town didn't hold a lot (unless you are intrigued by salt mining) but the architectural and historic impressiveness of the parador is well worth the visit.
