The reservation:
For starters, we were 9 people in a bachelor party. We looked for a nice place in/close to Baiona to have dinner. We found Rocamar and read it was pretty good in Galiza so we gave it a try.
I called them from Portugal, the lady was quite comprehensive and helpful, and made us a reserve for the next day. I asked if the table we would sit in was like the images here in tripadvisor, to which she replied that not only it was as she could try to place us close to the window.
In the day of the arrival, we were 30m late and worried about that, so I called there to let them know the situation and they were quite comprehensive again, saying there was no problem at all. We felt relieved.

The experience:
The table was place close to the window as previously stated, iwith an astonishing sight where you can see the see, the Cies islands and a BEAUTIFUL sunset (it's actually quite romantic there).
There was a wedding party running in an area different from where we were which separated things and didn't make us feel surrounded by too many people. Their party didn't interfere in our dinner, I liked that.
The staff was very professional and comprehensive, they tried their best they could to help us choose our food and wines, explaining what some of them were and advising us about sizes. Always coming around to check if we needed something although not interfering the dinner conversation. I noticed and liked that.
The cups of glasses looked a little dirty, and that was the only thing I didn't like. Although, it was due to their overuse, which is understandable. The only reason I noticed that was because the light was coming straight at them

The food:
The price can have a broad range. In our case it was 30€ per person, quite worth it. But we didn't quite hold back. We didn't order neither the cheapest nor the most expensive options in either food or wine, but we did ask some drinks.
There were options ranging from around 12€ to 50€. There were some options actually close to the lowest price range.
The food was very good. The quantity was not that much, it was just enough to not get hungry. Usually I'd like to have a bit more but the quality was actually very good.

Overall a good experience.

We especially came on a Sunday for dinner at Rocamar to spend a nice evening. We were the only guests. We ordered two soups, two main courses, wine and water. After a long time we received water, then soups. Galician was even tasty but the fish tasted like colored water with three !! Pieces of fish size 1 cm. Main dishes were correct. Unfortunately we did not get the wine we ordered. Generally it looked like we were interrupting the waiter and the kitchen. The view from the window is actually nice but the terrace to look at the water is not there.

Rocamar is about 3 km West of Baiona located next to the sea with lots if parking. It opens at 20.00 for dinner and we were welcomed by the friendly staff. The menu is extensive and the ocean views from the window seats should be booked if available. The restaurant is spacious and light. The food is excellent and following some good starters we enjoyed simply grilled turbot which was well cooked , tasty and well presented. Wine is available in 1/2 bottles (3/8) on the menu and 50 cl bottles.

Well worth travelling too for a real quality seafood, seaside experience.
