Visited today for my sister's 18th birthday and was not at all impressed. I have been before and had a lovely afternoon tea but was disappointed today. The staff were quite rude and not attentive. We had a diabetic and celiac amongst our party, who we were told could be catered for. The diabetic received a plate if fruit and toasted tea cake and was expected to pay £16.95 for it. The celiac menu was two small sandwiches and two scones. Only after we complained did they provide some average looking tray bakes. We chose the Inn on the Lake as a special treat but left feeling like we could have done better ourselves!
