Mal and Paul received us very well at the cottage. We really appreciate the hospitality.
Lovely rooms. The beds are very good (we sleep well) and the breakfast was even better.
No problems to make us a lunchpack .
Highly recommended for people on the Rob Roy Trail.

Stayed at this B & B on Saturday 03/05/14 as my husband was competing in the Stuc a chroin hill race that day and we decided to make a weekend of it We were in the "Forest" room which consisted of 1 room with a king size bed and a single bed and another room with 2 single beds and an en-suite shower room The decor and furniture in the rooms was beautiful and we were provided with tea/coffee making facilities, tv, hairdryer and ironing board and iron There was also toiletries in the en suite This is not licensed premises but we were able to bring our drink and sit in the lounge with our friends for the evening and the owners Paul and Mal joined us for a drink. Our friends have been staying at this B & B for the last 10 years and have become good friends of Paul and Mal. In the morning we had a cooked breakfast an there was also a large choice of cereal, fruit and preserves on offer. If you want a nice relaxed homely place to stay you cannot go wrong Great value for money and excellent service. Although we di not get use of the garden there is a beautiful garden at the rear with a seating area and summer house. Would be lovely in the summer months for a small weekend break. If you are looking to stay in Strathyre you cannot go wrong with booking this you will receive a warm welcome.

Room Tip: Forest room would be ideal for a family Bit of privacy for adults but with this consisting of 2 roo...

We booked one night here based uon recommendations on tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. Both we and our dog were made very welcome. They weren't fully booked and as we had the dog ( a German Shepherd) they gave us the larger room. Everything was clean and fresh and the garden was lovely. Breakfast was very well cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks for a lovely stay

Room Tip: The house is located on a main through road so best to ask for a room at the back if traffic bother...

We have stayed twice at Rosebank and have enjoyed it. Both times, it was a perfect location to spend our night before heading to Edinburgh Airport for the car rental return. Paul and Mal were very friendly and, as many others have commented, their breakfast service is really good! We stayed in the Garden Room. It had a few issues such as very thin blankets and a challenging shower. But overall, it worked fine for us. The first time we visited Rosebank, we accidentally left with the key in a pocket. We were able to mail it to them in Edinburgh, but still felt some embarrassment about the mistake. When we arrived this time, we reminded Paul and Mal, and we all had a good laugh. They were not only forgiving, but expressed appreciation for us as we took the time to mail the key.

The forest room is roomy with great view out on to the garden. The breakfasts are always tasty and filling!!
The two wee dogs tessy and scamp are very friendly and cute :)
All in all I would highly recommend a stay here and we will be coming back soon!

The B& B is situated in a wonderful location away from the main bustle of Callander. The hosts were both warm and friendly. The breakfast selection was varied and freshly cooked to order and personal preference without fault!

Compared to prices in Callander, this B&B offers much more in respect of value, comforts of home and a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth every penny spent.

Room Tip: Having spent a night in both rooms, the Garden room provides a larger room, with a shower ensuite, w...
