Went for a drink at 1.15pm and found the place locked. Spoke to some guy, presumably the owner, and asked if it was open. His reply "Obviously not" did not make me wish to make a return visit. Strange opening times which don't correspond with the Good Beer Guide or with signs on the inn itself. Fortunately found a better pub in Dunblane.

Room Tip: Just avoid it.

Stayed here one night on the way to Oban. Had to leave too early for breakfast but the landlady sorted me out with something to take into my room with me to eat. Not expensive. Bit tired but assume they don't get much trade. Would stay again.

We stayed here and had our evening meal & drinks, on a wet & windy sat evening. We reserved through laterooms and felt that the the double room price was excellent value for money.

We were in room 5 which was a very nice spacious room, clean and looks to have been recently refurbed ie new carpet, large extra king size bed. We sounded to be above the kitchen which you could hear occasionally but was not a problem in the night, in fact it was very quiet being not on the 'roadside' side of the building.

The bar area was lively but not rowdy - 2 excellent real ales on, with pump clip 'history' around the room real ale drinkers would never be disappointed? We had our evening meal here too and enjoyed it immensely esp the nacho starter. The breakfast was good too.

All of the staff were very friendly, as were the locals we spoke to.

We would and hope to visit again, ideally situated for walking and cycling the paths between Killin & Callander- but in better weather.

We arrived at the Inn having cycled through a blizzard, soaking wet. Despite our appearance we were made very welcome. Nothing was too much for the staff, they went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our clothes and shoes were dried for us. The food was excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We visited here for drink and snack as it allowed dogs in.

Lovely gentleman served us and chatted away. A nice fire was on the go.

Would like to visit here again if we are back in the area, particularly in an evening as it felt very warm and welcoming when it was quiet during a rainy afternoon.

Just brought the new year in here with friends, we were made very welcome from the time we arrived. We had a bar meal at night which was very good and then the entertainment that was on was very typical Scottish Hogmanay, with people playing accordion, bagpipes, guitar with singing, and just before the new year arrived the owners handed everyone in the bar a box which contained streamers, balloon, party popper and tooters.
The bedrooms had flat screen tv and free view box, tea/ coffee making and very comfortable double bed, and a very roomy en suite bathroom with bath and shower.
At breakfast you had lots of choice with serial, fruit juice, full Scottish or veggie hot breakfast, plus abundant tea/ coffee and toast.
Would highly recommend this for a new year experience

My friends and I spent one night at the Inn, it is very comfortable and the rooms were very warm, we were given a good welcome. The food is reasonable but the ale is excellent and the bar is a friendly place to have a meal.
