During our 12-days-trip we stayed for a total of four nights at Nancy's beautiful B&B. Though it is some miles from Plockton, you get there by car in a few minutes. Creag Liath is wonderfully located on top of a hill with a great view on the isle of Skye from the living room, where you can spend long evenings watching the sunset while reading one of the many books and information material provided by Nancy.
The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are superbly clean and spotless, the furniture somewhat old-fashioned maybe, but with a lovely charm. Nancy did everything to make our stay highly comfortable. She provides a large breakfast of best quality and with a huge choice of cereals, fruit, fully cooked breakfast in all variants etc. She is very helpful and charming and every night it felt like coming home to Granny's....
This B&B is highly recommendable and we will definitely come back!!

Nancy is a wonderful host at this lovely B & B at Plockton. We had a very comfortable room and breakfast the next morning was great. Nancy suggested that we drive from Plockton to Applecross, this goes through the highest mountain pass in Britain, and is now considered one of the ten must do drives. Wow, what a drive and the scenery amazing. This B & B is in a very quiet area, so if you are looking for a great welcome, comfortable room and a very congenial host - don't miss it.

I hesitated to write this review as the selfish part of me doesn’t want to share this wonderful place with too many people.

This area has got to be one of the most beautiful places in Britain and this B&B has got to have one of the most beautiful views. We discovered this B&B about 4 years ago and we have been visiting every year since. Nancy is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Her B&B is very clean and she puts on a good spread at breakfast. We don’t tend to stay often in B&Bs these days, but this one will stay on our list of regular haunts for as long as Nancy continues to run it.

There are some good local walks and Plockton nearby offers some very good restaurants. There are also more great restaurants slightly further north as well, so you will never go hungry.

Room Tip: There are two rooms. One double and one twin. Both are upstairs

We have stayed in this wonderful B&B for many many years, returning every single year. It is in an idyllic location, very out of the way it seems, but very close and easy to get to Plockton (utterly lovely) and Kyle of Lochalsh for the road bridge to Skye - a wonderful place to spend the day, visiting beautiful places, eating, walking, climbing. Both villages have wonderful shops and excellent restaurants with frfiendly staff.
But most important of all are the hosts at this lovely B&B - very comfortable rooms with everything you could need, a lounge downstairs with comfortable chairs and full of maps and books with as much local information as you could possibly want, but if you ask, Nancy knows huge amounts about the whole of the North West of Scotland.
From the house you can walk along a tiny road past a lovely loch to stretch your legs, or Nancy will give you details about other longer wonderful walks.

Room Tip: One Twin and One double, both en suite.
