“Ice Cream”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

A pleasure after a canoe or swim; kids love it. In addition, you will find a nice gift shop with t-shirst and sweatshirts, wooden items, and other fanciful gifts and trinkets. Always something new.

“Heaven after a numer of days in the back woods!”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

One word. BEER. After a week of portaging, sweating, paddling, the thought of a few ice cold beer is what keeps me going on the afternoon of the last day. AND fries (salt!) and a burger. I have no idea how tasty the food it, at that point it is all about wolfing down something that is desired.

“Great place for lunch.”
Reviewed 21 November 2012

This place can get busy, but it's got great charm and a great view if you can get a window table. Watching the rookie canoeists launching their boats for a paddle on the lake can be a hilarious spectator sport. Have a brew and a chuckle - you can count on it.
