I have been staying at the Big Game for 30+ years, and I must say this is the best it has ever been, the Guy Harvey Outpost crew is to be congratulated for bringing this classic destination back to new heights!

My friends and family have been travelling to Bimini for years. We have great memories and stories to tell about our adventures at the Big Game Club. We were saddened to experience it's demise a few years back and the eventual closing did not surprise us.

Upon hearing the rumors of Guy Harvey and friends' plans on renovating and re-opening the Big Game Club once again, we were all very excited.

I am very pleased to say the Big Game is back and better than ever! The resort has been restored and updated with a multi-million dollar makeover. Gone are the poor attitudes that plagued the resort in it's ''final'' months a few years ago. Gone are the shabby grounds and dated rooms.

The renovation was more than just a ''paintover''. Furnishings, fixtures, linens are all new, cosmetic and structural issues have been addressed properly. In short, the resort is in outstanding condition.

EVERYONE was very friendly and willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay enjoyable. Christopher, the manager, has a great raport with the staff and guests alike. This attitude has obviously filtered down to the staff.
With the rebirth of the BBGC, it has brought hope and a new found spirit to the residents of Alice Town. Bimini is once again at the top of our list for boating destinations.

I am also happy to see the enthusiam that BBGC is showing towards the promotion of Bimini as a world class dive destination. This will open up the ''Bimini'' experience to a whole new generation of water lovers.

The marina is in great shape and rest assured that your vessel is secure under the watchfull eye of a Bimini legend, ''Cisco'' and his staff of dock personnel.

Thank you once again for making our stay at BBGC a memorable one, we will see you all soon!

One of the ''first timers'' with us summed it up best...resorts and restaraunts around the world try to re-create the island look and spirit with fake pastel colored buildings and piped in carribean music. Bimini is the REAL THING and we are glad to have a gem like BBGC to allow us to experience it.

Recently renovated with a "green" theme and it is very easy to get to from south Florida, good diving excellent facilities. Food is pretty good and the wait staff is there but not in your face. Excellent place to go relax and escape for a few days. Free Internet access is a bonus for the Bahamas, if you ask they'll actually let you call home. I will take another group in the near future. The dive operation is first class and there are plenty of things to do if you want to wander around the island.

It's been about 6 years since I've been to Bimini. The island had has a string of bad luck over the last few years....the Complete Angler burned to the ground, Big Game Club closed....even the End of the World Bar was having issues.

Bimini use to be one of my favorite places to go in the entire caribbean, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear the Big Game Club was back in business and Guy Harvey and company have done this lengendary landmark proud. My only complaint was that I waited 4 months after the grand opening to check it out. The new Guy Harvey Outpost Resort has everything any boater/fisherman/diver could ever want....and the vide is perfect....it's like living a Jimmy Buffett song....pure paradise!

We headed to the Big Game Club to celebrate the coming of 2011 and it was absolutely wonderful!! The rooms are very large and spacious and the beds (especially the bedding) is so comfy it makes it hard to get up! The bathrooms are also very nice with soft towels. As for the resort itself, the property is really nice (not to mention the view). The service was excellent (although every meal we had was at the bar), everyone was friendly, and the food was wonderful (try the conch burger!). They've also got a great looking dive shop with a spacious new boat (it even has a glass bottom). I didn't have time to do any diving, but as an avid diver, I will definitely go back to give their shop a try.

All in all, it was my first time to the Big Game Club, and I was very impressed. I can't wait to go back soon and spend more than 2 nights! However, with it being such an easy place to get to with a 17 minute flight from Ft. Lauderdale, & rooms that are affordable, it is the perfect place for a weekend getaway (or longer!)
