“Food hall”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

I loved the food hall, I always bought my meats and relishes on my way past. So gutted that its shut. I really can't see the appeal anymore, unless you like overprice home ware.

“Missing the Food Hal. Will not visit again!”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

We always enjoyed our visits having a look around the non food areas, have a snack and then end up in the food hall where we usually stocked up on good quality butchery products.. On our last visit the food hall had closed and it was no us making the 10 mile trip from home. We will not be returning.. I think they are more interested in selling gifts etc to the visitors, who quite often arrive by the coach load, than to supply good quality food to the locals who will visit all year round.,

“Closed despite EU Funding”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

When the site was built, it received EU Convergence funding of £650,000 to "promote Cornish food and produce".
Tragic that despite this, the lure of corporate profit was more attractive.
Sad loss to Cornwall.
