A good place for a group of friends to meet for lunch! Great deal on offer; 2 mains for £10! The Refillable drinks are always a winner. Would definitely recommend to any ages.

Easy and convenient place to meet a group of friends and friendly atmosphere.

I have to travel to Cornwall occasionally as part of my work. To be fair there aren't many "brand name" hotels as most places tend to be B&B/boutique hotels mainly aimed at holiday makers.

This Premier Inn is fairly basic as they go (they still have old school keys instead of key cards for the rooms for example) and the air conditioning is fairly difficult to control the temperature.

This being said the rooms are comfortable, albeit basic, and the location is very convenient for travel through Cornwall being located on the A30.

The food in the adjacent pub is average, but unless you want to drive to a nearby town (such as Newquay) there isn't an abundance of places to eat around the local area.

One thing that was slightly irksome was the fact that the breakfast at this hotel is cooked to order, so you can't go up and get what you want when you want as per usual Premier Inn buffet breakfasts - you have to order when you first sit down otherwise you are going to be in for a wait. If you are anything like me you prefer to have a bit of fruit/cereal first before seeing if you fancy a bacon sarnie. A minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.

Plus side - staff very friendly and very helpful.

Basic hotel but good value and conveniently situated just off A30. Room was a decent size and bed was fairly comfortable. The only meal I ate there was breakfast, which was good. Staff of reception and at breakfast were all very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I had a two night stay at this Premier Inn as we were visiting family. The staff were pleasant, approachable and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was large and comfortable. Good choice of pillows.

As with previous visits the Premier In and its staff were lovely. Parking on evening is a total mess due to the Brewers Fair next door who encourage locals to dine, making gettinf a table reservation difficult. We this time booked a table in advance but was still very busy on Friday night. Food wise Breakfast is excellent to value for money for evenings if you miss the day time off or a weekend is expensive for PUB GRUB! Suggest Whitbreads look at Marstons chain of restuarants and their offers ALL DAY - EVERY DAY. Wort find local pub for evening meals , lols about

Easy to book, easy check in. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Good value for money. Nice pub with a decent steak next door. It met our expectations as a base for our weekend break to Cornwall with Newquay and Padstow within easy reach
