I had heard great things about the mussels and I was not disappointed. You would be hard fetched to find better. That applies to the service which was so naturally welcoming and friendly. The perfect end to a sunny summer day by the water.

A first visit for us whilst visiting our son. We were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome on a dark and dingy night.
We were served with our food quickly but a nice gap in between courses and I was very impressed with the standard and freshness of it. I had fish and chips, I think it was the best I have had in the area! The rest of the group really enjoyed their food also.
We have visited the area for many years and we will definitely return on our next visit.

Had a really nice meal with friends and family here. Service was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. I would definitely recommend and will be here regularly this summer coming.

Whilst staying in Noss Mayo, we decided to visit the Dolphin after going to the Ship three times. We were incredibly impressed, and must say that this is without doubt the best pub in the area. The fish is simply SUPERB!!! My friend gave ten out of ten for the Fowey mussels, and ten out of ten for the fish soup. I had the burger which was extremely good. Charles the barman is a delight, and when we arrived soaked this week, told my friend to take her boots off and dry them by the fire. A wonderful friendly atmosphere, and the locals were lovely. We ended up going to the Dolphin three times in six days, and wish we’d found it earlier. It must be good, as one if the locals, Mrs D, was in there all three visits with her partner. Highly Recommended, and if you love fish, it is an absolute MUST!!! Look forward to returning again.
