We visited The Dolphin this past Tuesday with our 5 month old puppy and we had an excellent experience. Nicky looked after us from start to finish, and she is such a warm, friendly and bubbly character it felt more like being in her home than in a pub. On Nicky's recommendation, my partner had the fish pie, which was delicious, served with kale and green beans. I had the fish and chips with mushy peas, which was just superb, you need to go and try it from here, because it was simply amazing. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which was also delicious. Great place and we'd thoroughly recommend. Thank you!

Lovely pub which welcomes both locals and tourists. Visited several times during our holiday. All food really tasty. We had Thai green curry, lasagne, scampi and fish pie and all delicious. The staff are really friendly and are doing a starling job during these difficult times. Can’t wait to come back.

Another splendid evening at this great pub. Nicky, Johnny, Charles and the whole team are working brilliantly under the new guidelines and the pub is deservedly busy. We all agreed the food was outstanding - had to have some of the Fowey mussels to start, best anywhere in the world. Superb rib eye steaks, fish pie, lasagne. Thank you so much, our visiting friends and family are always so impressed and jealous of our wonderful local!

Good food served here with lovely staff, and good menu choice. Another asset to this delightful village on the estuary.

We both had the ribeye steak. As good as it gets. Superb.
A good pint of Guinness as well...which is always the sign of a well kept pub IMO.
Defo got back...this is how pubs should be...a credit to the landlord.
If your driving to the Ship Inn...keep driving until you get to the Dolphin...you won’t be disappointed.
