I was not able to be near the Front Porch for two months. Some time in that time the Front Porch closed. This does not seem to be temporary.

From the lemonade to the service we were left with a bad taste in our mouth. Have been here many times over the years. With each visit the food, the service, and the surroundings have declined. We will not be back.

In years gone by, this little place was featured in Southern Living. Maybe we just hit it on an off day... but we couldn't see the charm or quality it might have once enjoyed. The interior looked worn dated, even for a country restaurant.

We ordered country steak. Food was bland. It was barely warm when we rec'd it.

I hate being negative ...I appreciate their contribution to the area, which looks depressed, but based on quality of food and service, we won't be visiting them again.

Let's face it, Yellville Arkansas is not exactly a bustling tourist destination. Unless you are traveling to the Ozarks or going canoeing, you may never even have heard of it. But if you have occasion to pass through, the Front Porch is a great place to stop for a bite. There aren't many choices for dining in Yellville, so they could pretty much throw a leather sandal on the grill and serve it and a guest could only complain so much, but the food at the Porch is actually quite good. The burgers are classic diner style, the BBQ is good, the fried chicken is excellent, and the fried cod sandwich is not to be missed. They offer a buffet that presents a pretty nice spread for about ten bucks and the strawberry lemonade was voted "best ever" by my seven-year-old. The staff are friendly in that southern hospitality sort of way and the overall experience left me and my family well fed and happy.

didn't actually eat here this time but noticed the canopies are very worn, black looking and torn. Looking pretty run down and didn't see too many cars in the parking lot. When we ate there some time ago I wan't too impressed with anything. Lots of fried stuff.
