Food is great & service excellent! My friends and I are very satisfied with our food. . This place is in the middle of nowhere and needs remodeling but other than that is a great place to eat!

2 Thank Alejandra

“A very nice NON CHAIN option with good food and reasonable prices”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

Arriving in Baker around lunch time from Death Valley, we set out to find a decent non junk food restaurant for lunch. We drove the length of the main drag in Baker (old RT-66) and found the following. Taco Bell, Denny’s, Arby’s, Jack in the Box, Bun Boy (which seemed closed), Quiznos, A&W, Carl’s Jr, Burger Kink, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Subway and exactly two non chain – non junk food restaurants – Mad Greek and Los Dos Toritos. The Los Dos Toritos is located in mid town at the intersection of I-15 business (aka Baker Blvd), and RT-127 (aka Death Valley Rd).

This is a very nice NON CHAIN Mexican restaurant. It’s clean, good and authentic Mexican food with reasonable prices. I don’t have any inside info, but it appears to be owned and operated by local people with a Mexican heritage.

The food was very good. As is the case with many such restaurants they have a “Chips and Salsa” bar where there are several varieties of salsa’s to dip your corn chips in – all well labeled with the type of salsa and a spiciness rating from mild to hot.

A very nice change from the generic mass market type of restaurants one typically is subjected to while traveling.
