Bill and Nancy are wonderful people and great hosts. The room was lovely and very comfortable. We slept so well in there - it must be the fresh air, great bed and the fact it is so peaceful at night. They cooked the most amazing, healthy breakfasts for us and assisted us with anything we needed. We have grown very fond of them and enjoying our long chats in the kitchen:)
If you want to escape the crazy dog eat dog life and enjoy a relaxing, quiet weekend away, or just like us stop over for few days on your way around California- this is the place for you!
The Bear Valley is beautiful, the hosts and their home are great and Mariposa (15 mins drive away) is a charming little town with great restaurants, diners and cute shops.

Bill and Nancy were the perfect hosts. We stayed a night as part of a two day trip to Yosemite. They took great care of us. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the farmhouse. Bill and Nancy were great breakfast company and they whipped up a yummy, truly organic (with produce grown from their backyard) gluten-free breakfast. Try some of Nancy's home-made granola cereal and home-made almond milk (yes, she makes her own fresh almond milk) and you'll start asking for all her recipes.

This farmhouse is a great place to visit if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. Also, was a great value for money with only a 45min drive to Yosemite.
