The church can only be visited via a guidetour (which only starts when a required amount of participants take part, only in Czech language). Church of the Holy Ghost. 1626 Duke Ulric of Eggenberg had confiscated properties of Římov, established in the l3th century stronghold , and gave it to the Jesuits from Český Krumlov. Jesuit apothecary Jan Gurre initiated a pilgrimage location, building started 1648- first half l8th century. Loretto chapel was built first, then 1652-1658 monastery and 1672-1697 church of the Holy Spirit. Simultanious creation of the unique Stations of the Cross. Entrance through a passage in the 1891 bell-tower, behind it is a courtyard enclosed by cloisters on all sides. The vaults of these cloisters are decorated with paintings of 34 scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary and 32 pictures of Marian pilgrimage locations in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. In the corners of the cloisters there are the Baroque altars of St. Wenceslas, St. Linhart, a Crucifix and the Virgin Mary of Sorrows. The Loretto chapel is in the middle of the yard, its furnishing are copies of the original chapel from the Italian Loretto, a Baroque sculpture of the Virgin Mary of Římov is standing on the altar. Baroque pulpit, 1672 baptismal font and the New-Baroque altar made in 1878-1879 in the east wing of the cloister. Ther is an approximately 6 km long marked trial of the unique Calvary. Built step-by-step from I 658 to middle l8th century. Its 25 stations are spread throughout the neighbouring picturesque landscape.
