A beautiful cottage in stunning scenery. Graham and Ros, who were so helpful and friendly, have created a truly special space in Samhach. A real gem. A big thanks to you all again!

I too a week off to get away from work with my wife, and I don't regret coming to Samhach, and look forward to visiting again, hopefully for longer. A week wasn't enough to appreciate Samhach, which is nicely away from the main roads, with none of the ambient sound or light pollution of the city. Purely from the facility to open the door to only the gentle sound of the breeze, and see shooting stars without the requisite glow of streetlamps and so on is enough to recommend this location, but the facilities and atmosphere add so much more.

Any review won't come close to really doing Samhach justice, but if you need to get away from everything, you couldn't do better. While we were there we tracked across to Skye, which was more than convenient, as well as the Black Isle and Inverness. We could have gone further afield, and I would recommend certainly taking more than a week to get the most from visiting this property as far as exploring the region, as we will next time! Many thanks to Ros & Graham for giving us such a memorable stay.

“The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow”

We're sure that Samhach will receive numerous accolades from those of us who have been fortunate to find this little Scottish gem. The location is truly stunning and a wonderful base to explore the many intimate corners of the Highlands. The property was immaculately presented with obviously a great deal of thought having been put into the requirements of the guests. The owners Rosalyn and Graham were in our opinion the perfect hosts, and we will certainly return to this little pot of gold.

“Perfect holiday home”

You should choose to stay here over other holiday rentals for the following reasons modern and clean inside, sky HD TV, collect your own eggs, great location and they provide all the little extras which you don't get at other holiday homes which makes a big difference. Can't recommend Samhach highly enough.

“Perfect location for a holiday in the Highlands”

My wife, 8 year old daughter and I stayed for a week and loved every minute...

On arrival we were met by Rosalyn who showed us all the amenities (of which there are many!) and gave us some advice on where to go and what to see in the area. The cottage is really lovely, and very well appointed.

Our daughter loved playing and exploring in the garden, collecting eggs from the chickens and playing with Reuben, Graham and Rosalyn's friendly dog.

From its location to the facilities provided, it was the perfect getaway and "base camp" to explore Loch Ness and the Highlands. We certainly hope to return!

“Perfect "home base" from which to explore Loch Ness”

My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway where we could really relax and explore the beautiful scenery of Loch Ness. This holiday apartment was absolutely perfect offering tranquility and all the comforts you could want. There is a wood burning stove, fresh eggs from the coop, complementary whiskey and every utensil/cooking thing anyone could need on holiday. The rental is very clean with a nice décor. The couch and bed were comfy and the big windows really brought the outside in.

The owners, the Frasers, really are warm, lovely people. They chatted with us about the local attractions and gave great directions to some must see places. If we needed anything, they were readily available.

We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the sites of Loch Ness. We loved this area and this rental so much, that we plan to return next year!
