Right on the water :) Beautiful!
I met my Aunt whom I hadn't seen in 2 years for early dinner. At first glance it looks a bit run down, however what it lacks in paint it makes up for in service & view. The service was great & the view.... ahhh. We were able to eat, chat, and watch the crazy swimmers in wet suits and wind surfers right out side the window. Great Bay view.
Loved it!

It's an older, strangely-configured restaurant inside with separate seating areas. If you're fortunate to be seated in the dining area farthest from the entrance, you'll be rewarded with an amazing view of the bay, Berkeley Pier, Bay Bridge, and Golden Gate Bridge on a clear day. Menu is not avant garde by any means but well-prepared, fresh and tastefully presented. The Sunset Special (aka early bird special) is the best value. From 5-6 pm you can get a 3-course dinner for $19.99. Specific menu choices are on their website. Service was adequate but anything that required attention by the secondary server,e.g. more bread, etc, took a while. I hear that the weekend brunches are popular but the Monday evening patronage was sparse. (Better chance to get a great, rather than okay, table!) All in all a great place to have lunch or dinner while watching views of the bay and to take young family members to practice appropriate dining skills.

I went to HS Lordships with a group of co workers and the food was FABULOUS. The nice thing is the variety even for dinner. You can get a burger or sandwhich for 10-15 or a wonderful full meal for 25-40 so there is a little something for everyone. I had a salmon dish with veggies and shrimp on it that was so good and another person had a filet mingon with crispy onions on it that he said was the best steak he has ever had. Others had less expensive french dip and fish and chips and were equally as happy.

Ok.....enough abou the food. The views from the dining room were amazing. If you are in Berkely, it is worth a try.

They also have a happy hour menu in the bar which is very reasonable.....so you can chek that out too. Views from the bar are not as good but still ok.

Can't wait to go back and try their Sunday champagne brunch buffet.

Kelly the manager/owner is GREAT!!!

Had Sunday brunch with a friend over the MLK weekend. It was much better than the last time I went (about 10 years ago). The food was fresh and had a good varieties to choose from. The view, as always, is the selling point. Nice ambiance overall and the service was good.

Was treated to a post birthday brunch by an old friend on Sunday morning. Had read about this place in a tourist guide so thought we would give it a go. Just wished I had more room in my tummy to try all the myriad of treats on offer. As well as the usual omelette station where you can watch them put together your fave fillings, you were spoiled for choice for all the accompaniments. There was a fab cheese platter, all sorts of fresh fruits, pastries, juices, every cake under the earth and a chocolate fountain! All this was offered with unlimited champagne and orange juice, fresh coffee. We were given a great table with view out across the bay - lovely way to spend a sunday morning.
