We stayed 2 nights in cabin A recently and it was a perfect holiday despite intermittent rain. The cabin was a lot better than we expected; clean, well appointed and spacious with a million dollar view right from the back patio into the plains below. Debbie was very efficient in booking and was kind enough to come and check everything was as we expected. It was simply wonderful to wake up with mist surrounding the cabin and we had a great time watching the mist blowing away revealing the scenery below. Even with a young family, there is a lot to do in the surrounding area (platypus watching, short walks, bath in Finich Hatton gorge); but just sitting in the back patio reading a book and watching the scene below is the worth the money you pay for accommodation.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and I am happy to hear you enjoyed your holiday.

It is wonderful watching the mist roll up the mountain- and just as quickly disappear, allowing guests to observe the most amazing views of the Pioneer valley- stunning!.

There are a variety of rainforest walking trails, catering to all fitness levels- from a short 300 meter circuit track, to much longer trails for the hiking enthusiast. I am glad your family experienced a variety of activities during your time with us.

Once again, thank you for your review and I hope to see you again soon.

Kind Regards,
Debbie

We stayed 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation and glorious views. Cabin A is well-designed for a couple with all the facilities one could need: queen-size bed, immaculately clean bathroom, kitchenette and dining/lounge room. Has a giant TV which was not used because all we wanted to gaze at was the staggering view from the front deck. Debbie was very helpful and friendly. Excellent location near to rainforest hikes and only 5 km from Broken River where we saw platypus in the wild. Will definitely come back and can't wait to do so!

Room Tip: Cabin A has the best views.

Hi,

Thank you for your complimentary review.

Cabin A is a favourite of many guests, the views are absolutely breathtaking from the private balcony!

Observing Platypus in the wild is a truely wonderful experience, I am pleased that you saw them, Platypus are usually sighted from, the observation platform, around the hour before dusk and after dawn. They can be seen year round, but during the mating season, sightings are much more frequent.

Once again, thank you for your complimentary review and I look forward to welcoming you back to Eungella Mountain Edge Escape.

Kind Regards,
Debbie

The 3 days spent here were totally relaxing and a great chance to relax from beach hopping down the coast. Debbie's efficiency in booking was really helpful and when we arrived in the chalet we realised that is was a much higher standard than I expected. The host was generous with everything, including lots of cookware, cleaning stuff and tea/coffee replenished daily. The place is 5 km from broken river but otherwise is in the middle of nowhere. The local walks aren't circular but the scenery is beautiful and finch hatton is definitely worth a visit. Also saw a few platypus on our first trip to Broken River. Night time is magical, the stars are super bright and need to be enjoyed from the verandah! Air con / fan were just right for us on the humidity and the rooms were spanking clean. A really lovely place, especially if self catering.

Room Tip: Chalet C is furthest away from the valley, probably A or B slightly better.

Hi,

I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for taking the time to write your review.

There are some lovely walking trails at Eungella and Finch Hatton Gorge. During the summer months, the natural pools at Finch Hatton Gorge offer a chance to take a refreshing dip after your hike, Wheel of Fire Falls and Araluen falls are well worth the visit.

Eungella Mountain Edge Escape is situated approximately 2,500 feet above sea level. On a clear night, away from the glaring lights of the city, it's simply magic observing the stars!

Once again, thank you for taking the time to review your stay and I hope to welcome you back in the not too distant future.

Kind Regards,
Debbie

Stayed here the first two nights of our honeymoon. Great place to unwind and enjoy peace and quiet. We were impressed by the cleanliness and presentation of the unit and surrounds. Although not a 5 star glamorous destination, it is very comfortable good quality accommodation with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Manager Debbie was friendly and professional on phone and email. We did not meet in person but felt welcomed with a hand written note of congratulations and chocolates waiting in our cabin. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and rainforest walks too.
