charming boutique. walking distance to many good services. lovely, well appointed comfortable rooms although a bit on the small side. this did not matter because I was traveling solo but if there had been 2 or more the room would have been too tight. service excellent, except for a poorly draining tub that was never attended to and very dim lighting for which I requested (to no avail) brighter bulbs for reading. fitness room very small so don't expect much. pool area lovely and intimate but limited direct sun for those who seek it. overnight parking at $30 per day so be forwarned! I asked about public parking garages in the area and was told by hotel staff that there were none. I did not conduct independent inquiry so those of you considering staying there with a car may want to check this out. otherwise, the hotel was great and I highly recommend it. .

Stayed at the Mosaic Hotel for 2 nights. Room was clean, friendly staff, car service is a big plus.

Positive

1. As others have mentioned, Location! 0.5 miles to Rodeo Drive and around excellent restaurants.
2. Friendky staff.
3. Clean Room - Great amenities, high qualitya sheets, towels, Bvlguri bath amenities.
4. Great bathroom.

Negative

1. Room is getting dated, light fixture was leaning, carpet had stains, folding up, torn.
2. Very small rooms, feels cramped even with only 2 people.
3. No view from room, was given a room with a view of outside stairway.
4. Request for more additional towels and bath amenities was not followed through, even though front desk indiacted they would bring up right away, no one showed up with the requested items.

Overall stay was ok, location is great, staff friendly. Don't know if it was just our room, but it could use a refresh. Not sure if I would stay at Mosaiv again, was not blown away!

I recently spent one night at the Mosaic Hotel. It was a very nice, reasonably priced hotel. I was particularly pleased with the location of this hotel which is just off Wilshire blvd and a short walk from Rodeo Drive. Also, as the hotel is in Beverly Hills, it's centrally located for activities throughout Los Angeles. The room I stayed in was very clean, nice and well appointed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Mosaic Hotel for two nights and our experience was fantastic. We had a King Suite in one of the corners. The room was very spacious.

The location could not have been better. It is a quick walk to Rodeo Drive with great access to some of the best restaurants around.

We can't wait to go back.

We go to LA four or five times a year, this past weekend we and two other couples choose to stay at the Mosaic Hotel in Beverly Hills. We've often stayed at the Montage, but for the money the Mosaic is by far the best value in town. We had a king bed, the sheets and pillows are amazing and rooms are decent size. The rooms are very nicely appointed, updated and well kept. It is close to everything, walking to shopping and dinning is easier than driving. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we used their driver and their Mercedes Benz SUV to get us to a private residence in BH. I will now always check out the rates and availability here at the mosaic before I book any hotel in BH. We did not use the pool, however it looked well kept and inviting. This will be our new choice to stay when in LA.

Room Tip: The rooms on the second floor with the little out doors patios are really nice. Also room 302 was gr...

This hotel is very solid on every dimension. It won't blow you away in luxury, but you won't pay luxury prices, either. You can't beat the neighborhood: quiet yet perfectly central to Beverly Hills, half a block from the famed Wilshire Blvd and a few blocks from the even more famous Rodeo Drive. They have a good parking facility and a quaint little pool with a couple of cabanas for outdoor seating/dining. The bar area is pretty small and I wouldn't plan on serious dining but great for a little breakfast or a late lunch/snack after you get settled in. The rooms are good size...not cramped like the typical boutique and all the furnishings are impeccable. The bed is VERY comfortable, rivaling Westin or the Ritz and the bathroom is very up-to-date and clean. You couldn't ask for more for the price you pay.

Location, Location, Location. This Hotel is ideally placed to allow the visitor to LA to thoroughly enjoy the delights of Beverly Hills. The location allows for walking to all the key areas of Beverly Hills whislt still offering good access for taxi cab transfer to downtown LA, Santa Monica and Hollywood.
The rooms are on the small side if travelling with family but if just a couple on your own enjoying some adult escape time they are perfect. Bulgari bath and shower gels are a great offering. The Hotel has a fantastic and undersold heated swimming pool to the rear. Surrounded by deckchairs this area is a fantastic respite in the afternoon sun from the hustle and bustle of LA.
We were staying in the Hotel with our two boys and four pieces of luggage. This explains our sense of smallness surrounding the size of the rooms. The service from the staff was patchy - needed to ask daily for four towels, toilet flush poor and then blocked! coffee wasn't replenished daily but these were relatively small irritations We ordered room service on our last evening and the food was delivered timeously and very warm. We were delayed in getting into LAX and advised the Hotel in advance. They honoured the rate that we had booked via the web. The Hotel represents great value for money.
In summary Mosaic is a value for money boutique Hotel ideally located for exploring Beverly Hills. It needs to work on its attention to detail in regard customer service but quirky additions in terms of luxury toileteries and an oppulent city centre swimming pool make this Hotel well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Ideal for couples.
