If you have eaten in LA/Beverly Hills you likely know there are a ton of choices. As for steaks, my wife and I are big fans and have tried just about every place imaginable. We of course like Taylors and surprisingly the Valley Inn in Sherman Oaks, but on the westside....we have been nothing but consistently impressed by Wolfgangs. Been there now 5 times and the service is always impeccable, the wine selection nice and the food...fantastic. The prices are equivalent to a nice steakhouse, but not above like a few of the posh steak places that go over the top with 60 dollar steaks. The sides are solid and give an option of a healthier steamed version, or the familiar steakhouse creamed corn for example, but there are a lot of choices.
It's just a nice dinner where you can go in suits, or jeans and a collared shirt. Their steak quality is very strong and the sizzling plate it is delivered on is a great way to enjoy a nice cut of meat. So...5 for 5 on good meals here so far and we have decided that this is now our go to steak place from Bev Hills to the water. Good bar also if that's your thing and good fresh bread. Like I said...no complaints.
