We stayed at the Brewers vacation home. We went up to Big Bear on Easter weekend and liked the Brewers home, so we booked it. We fit 11 people very comfortably. The big negative for us was a lack of cleanliness. The home has a large amount of spiderwebs, which in itself carries a lot of spiders popping up here and there. Also, the kitchen walls had ants all day long no matter how many we killed. Other than the bug problems, location is great, good view of the lake, comfortable rooms, nice deck. Would love to come back, but ladies in our group didn't take the spiders and ants too well.

Just got back and I must say we had a wonderful time, The cabin was very clean. The housekeeping staff was so pleasant and helpful. Anytime we went to the front desk the woman there was always pleasant with a smile. You just got a feeling of warmth. My minor issue was when we turned on the heat, the loft felt like a sauna. So we kept the cabin cooler then we normally would have. The TVS in the bedrooms are a little dated ( they have VCRs built in - Nuff said). But the TV the living area was a modern flat screen. Overall many thumbs up. Great place, great staff. Nice!!!

We originally booked this as a package with room for 2 nights and 4 lift tickets. We already had lift tickets and the hotel agreed to credit us for the unused lift tickets. They gave us $9.99 credit total for 4 lift tickets (normally $72.00 per ticket). They changed us to a full price room (without our knowledge). When we called to try to straighten this out, they were completely unresponsive. We had no hot water for showers and the place was noisy. Very dissatisfied!

Room Tip: Fawn room is sandwiched in between 2 other rooms and not quiet. Hot water ran out totally when our...

My wife and I visit my daughter and family several times a year. My wife and I checked in to Cabin #1 Possum at 2 PM December 26, 2012. Our first impression was, it was the nicest cabin we had been in up at Big Bear Lake. It was like a small apartment. Living room, Bedroom w/bathroom and a complete kitchen with all appliances. Returned from visit with daughter at 10 p.m.
Problems: 1. Wall space heater only the Living room, bedroom and bathroom stone cold. Bathroom never heated up, even with bedroom door open. 2. Razor shaved in morning and took a short shower. ( 5 min.) Hot water gone, wife unable to take shower, just as well they didn't have a hair drawer in the bathroom as most places do now. 3. Poorly stocked kitchen had a coffee pot but no coffee, creamer or sugar.
Nice cabin but I'll stay elsewhere next trip.

Room Tip: They have their cabins online to see.

Sorry for your uncomfortable stay. It has been unseasonably cold, but we knew nothing of your issues. We have space heaters, blow dryers and would have been happy to accommodate you. These are housekeeping cabins, so you are to make your coffee with the coffee pot provided. I would be happy to give you a raincheck for another try with us...maybe in the spring or summer

We just stayed this weekend & already referred a friend that booked to stay in January. First time in Big Bear & one of my clients mentioned this place was family friendly & has a playground on the grounds.
Great setup for my toddlers (other than the fact that I forgot the baby gate & had to constantly tell the kids the stairs are not meant to be used as a slide, lol) they loved having TVs upstairs.

Staff was friendly, cabins were clean, newly remodeled bathroom with xtralong tub. Going to try & come up before the end of winter & already thinking about a summer trip!

This was our first trip to Big Bear Region. Not sure where to stay and found this property. Secured the Moose cabin. Staff is very matter-of-fact, not warm and fuzzy. If you want a place where mom and dad take care of you, this isn't it. We enjoyed our stay! The cabins are close together. Moose has a living room / dining area separated by a couple of steps. Kitchen is complete so you can cook if you want or BBQ as there is a grill outside. King bed was very comfortable, heat worked well as the night got into the teens! Fireplace was romantic. Lots of windows so in the summer this would be ideal as well. very relaxing and soothing.
Grounds were covered with snow, very picturesque.

Room Tip: Moose Cabin was roomy. More away from the street.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay!! Our stay was on Oct. 13, 2012. Our stay at the tri-plex was so cozy and nice, that we would want to stay more in the room then experience Big Bear Lake. The room had allot of amenities for a reasonable price. The staff was excellent and pleasant to talk to, like Kitty and Nora. They made sure our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner personalize each room to make it as if it was your home. The bedroom furniture looked like new. The bathroom floor had new ceramic tile and shower area. New Carpet. I love the front porch with nice table and chairs. Kitty and Nora went out of their way to meet our needs. Pat and Joyce the owners are very nice as well. I definitely will be back this spring. Vincent

Room Tip: All the rooms and cabins are in a nice quiet area, away from town noise.
