“Secluded and quiet!”
Reviewed 20 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Kay was an excellent hostess and the cabin was filled with homey charm! It was more than big enough for my husband and I and our 2 dogs and plenty of quiet areas to sit and read. The view out of the kitchen window was beautiful and there were plenty of paths behind the property to explore we will definitely be back!

“Worth every Penny.”

For paying less than you would for a 1 bed hotel room... the size of the place alone is more than worth the stay. It was quiet, secluded, relaxing, surrounded by nature and a 10 min drive from the town. The back yard leads to a wonderful hiking trail.

The host was amazing, she offered us discounts on extra guests, brought us fresh baked cookies and eggs from her chickens.

The rooms were huge and comfy, plenty of space for larger parties.

Would recommend staying her again... because I plan to.

“Relaxing, spacious and kid friendly.”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The location was great if you want to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The Chalet had all of the amenities we needed and was very spacious. We had two young boys with us that enjoyed playing on the swings, in the sand box, and taking short hikes.
Kay met us on our arrival and made us feel at home right away. She had fresh baked cookies waiting for us which really made a big hit with the boys. Kay is a great hostess and strives to make your stay a pleasant experience.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of town.
