Have stayed in queen suite and found it most acceptable for the money. Lots of restaurants and takeaways close by as well as Coles. Rooms are quite large. Bathroom was a little old but clean. Kitchen was handy to reheat leftovers during our stay. Have actually booked this place again, this time in a queen room. Bus stop right out front. Had no problem with noise.

Upon arrival we were glared at by staff behind the bar who clearly knew we were staying there by the suitcases we had with us. After wondering where on earth we were meant to check in, whilst being stared at, we finally caught the attention of the manager/chef.

Once we had our key we had to hike our suitcases up a staircase and after climbing we were greeted by a dark dingy corridor before entering our room, which was not dissimilar. There was a hole in the ceiling where a light was missing, the bathroom was full of flies and we thought we were going to be eaten alive by bed bugs. There was noise throughout the night and we both felt very uncomfortable.

All in all, it was absolutely dreadful - never, ever again.

We stayed in the Queen suite and found it excellent value for money. The fixtures were all new and we found it very convenient to get into Mt Lawley for some good food/evening out.

An older style hotel, such as you find above pubs throughout Australia, this one was comfortable and not too loud - although we stayed on a weeknight, so no idea how it gets on the weekend (you are above a pub after all)
Most rooms don't have an ensuite which is standard for these type of hotels. The Queen suite did and this served our needs quite well. Nice little kitchenette as well.

Secure parking would have been nice, as you are essentially parking in a supermarket carpark. An alarm went off in the middle of the night and we rushed out thinking it was our car. Fortunately it wasn't, but from a nearby building.

I would happily stay here again, but may bring earplugs if it were for the weekend as I suspect it may get noisy.

Stayed at Civic Hotel while on business in Perth. Great location. Supermarket right behind hotel, plenty of places to eat nearby and free parking with 30 minute drive in heart of city. Clean, modern rooms with ensuite, room made up everyday.
