Don't believe the pretty pictures here or elsewhere, this motel is a dump. It is not located on the address listed on google maps nor their own website, but a half mile further down the road. We arrived at 9PM to find everything closed. The front desk staff inhabit one of their rooms and probably fell asleep. The rooms we booked were not available because someone else processed our booking incorrectly, so we were offered another room but that was, of course, 110F. Both rooms lacked towels for the amount of people on their booking, there was mess on the floor and in the sleeper sofa´s we needed to use. Yuk! Clearly poor management: no less than three separate people did notdo their job properly. Their restaurant closed down six months ago, so they can NOT serve breakfast. I specifically looked for a motel that could because we wanted to leave early. Their own website and the so called 'user pictures' here state there is a lovely restaurant at the place, and breakfast was included in our booking. There is nothing to eat anywhere close to this place. We still decided to stay because it was late already. Apart from the outdated and poorly fixed interior (stocked with one bar of soap and three satchels of Decaf, nothing else) there is nothing here. There is no sign of any renovation, only demolition. Apparently the place has been given up entirely. They didn't even bother to ask for my ID or CC! The street is populated with scary looking people who can access the adjacent pool just like that, so this is not a place to let your kids go for a swim. This is a place to stay no longer than absolutely necessary. We were happy to leave alive. I have never had a worse experience in a motel than this.

Room Tip: Turn around your vehicle! Make your way back into Arizona or stay on the HW towards a less lugubrious part of CA.

The Rodeway Inn in Blythe, CA was surprisingly good. The rooms were clean, quiet and had been remodeled recently. Both day and night shift staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was hot and good, but you had to get a voucher from the office and walk across the parking lot to a restaurent to eat. It was a little unusual, but it worked fine

One other odd thing is that the address is not the GPS setting, so go by the caution on the reservation page. I missed it and had to do a little searching to find the place.

All in all, a very good stay with nice people.

Room Tip: The center rooms are the furthest from the street, but after 11pm there is not much traffic on the street so noise is not a great problem.

We stayed here after driving through from Kingman via Oatman (Route 66).

Blythe has very few accommodation options therefore, after reading the tripadvisor reviews we decided on this property. This motel was priced at $88 inc tax and fair for the overall cost. The rooms were clean and had everything needed and the free breakfast at the grill onsite was a nice additional touch.

However, the things which let this property down was the bathroom. Our room had a dodgy toilet that rocked as you sat on it and leaked. No fun when stepping into a puddle in the wee hours to take a pee!!! Then there is the water temperature!!!! This has been set by the hotel to just a shade above luke warm. Doesn't matter what you do - full bore still gives you a warm only shower!

This meanness is the memory which we carry away with us as we love to have a refreshing shower to get us going and on the road.

A lovely clean room with a king size bed and a sofa. Fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, coffee maker, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, free wifi. Comfortable bed.
Sunset grill next door served a tasty dinner - no alcohol - and breakfast is included in the price.
Would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed at this motel for the night as we were returning back to Texas and our drive was pretty long. We spent an hour and a half looking for it since it was not on the I-10 sign. We had to stop and ask at a gas station. We got there at 1 am, rang the doorbell, and a lady came out and opened. Check in was smooth, she apologized for us not finding the hotel (very nice lady), gave us our room key and we were on our way. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice flat screen TV with cable. Went into the bathroom and was expecting a bunch of bugs since we read the last review. To our surprise, there were only 2 tiny dead bugs. Seems like they've had that problem before since they had some kind of white powder substance around the bathroom door (carpeted area outside)...I guess bug repellent. Room had coffee maker, iron and ironing board. We had a microwave and fridge. We had to move the fridge a certain way to keep it on since it was plugged in but when we got there it wasn't on. We had breakfast at the little restaurant they had there (it was free). We had eggs, bacon, pancakes, and orange juice. You order it and they make it. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating was because of the bugs. Otherwise, it's a nice motel for the price we got it at.
