We booked this hotel with a bit of concern due to previous reviews but we were pleasantly suprised. The welcome we received was first class and the room was spotless with a log burner and logs to go with it, even a bottle of wine, Wifi worked most of the time, but occasionally dropped out.

Breakfast was served across route one in the restaurant and was of excellent quality with a good choice. Dinner was either again across the road or in the main hotel building. We ate in the restaurant across the road and were very satisfied

We celebrated our anniversary with a beautiful trip to Bodega Bay, a charming village on the sea. The property is perched on a hill overlooking Bodega Bay alive with sea life and fishing boats. Our room was lovely with fireplace. We found this a delightful easy trip from the San Francisco area finding a peaceful restful abode

Spent a weekend here as a quick getaway. The rooms are on the small side, and show their age. Our chairs were so stained, that we did not sit on them. A bottle of wine for each room is a nice touch, as is the in room coffee/tea service. The on site bar & restaurant looked nice, but we did not use them. However, the pool and jacuzzi were great! The spa is very big and clean and was a major draw. It easily holds a dozen bodies without feeling crowded. Rooms could use a small refrigerator. For the price, would probably stay elsewhere next trip.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the spa & on an upper level for a view.

I was a little unsure of where to stay in Bodega Bay but this place was GREAT! We had a room with a fireplace and king size bed. The view of the bay was great (we were at the top of the hill). The pool and jacuzzi was very nice. The only thing was we were not able to get the fire lit!

Upon arrival we were given a bottle of great wine and free breakfast across the street where part of "The Birds" was filmed. We were also given a 20% discount for dinner. All and all our stay was excellent.

Room Tip: The rooms at the top have a great view - lots of windows and space to relax in. I would go back here...

This beautiful Inn is nestled in the low hills overlooking this beautiful bay. The rooms were spotless and furnished in an updated design that was appealing and comforting. We used this site as our jumping off point to explore some fantastic vineyards in the lower Russian River Area considered the Green Valley and Bennett Valley. We visited LynnMar, Mary Edwards and Iron Horse during this Mid October Weather. The vines were golden as harvest was just completed and the weather was perfect. Speaking of perfect, do visit the hotel restaurant, "the Duck Club," with a beautiful view of the bay and amazing entrees. I would strongly suggest making an advanced reservation for dinner as the restaurant attracts a lot of local folks as well. Oh, the Noise...- you will be gently lulled to sleep by the sound of fog horns in the distance if you leave your windows open, which is very tempting with crisp, fresh air.
Cheers!

This hotel would be wonderful for a romantic weekend. For us, it was a one night stop with 2 kids (10 & 16). The check in was quick and easy. The room nice with a lot of windows. We were surprised with a complementary bottle of wine and a morning newspaper the next day. Breakfast was included and we walked across the street to be given a great seat next to the windows. The breakfast choices were varied and delicious. We were also entertained by the sea lions playing in the bay.

We would like to return for a couples weekend :)
