Description: Fisherman's Cove is a local, family-owned seafood shack and fishing-marine supply store specializing in fresh local oysters that are grown on Tamales Bay. We serve them on the half shell or barbecued with your choice of six different house specialty sauces such as garlic butter sauce, cocktail sauce, chorizo butter with a hint of lemon and more. Try our unique oysters with pesto sauce and applewood bacon, or opt for our oysters Kilpatrick or Sweet Heaters with pickled jalepeno, shallots and raw mignonette. All of our ingredients are incredibly fresh, from the local Dungeness crab and hormone-free meats to organic vegetables and homemade sauces. We are committed to serving creative and delicious fare made with the best ingredients available

I was driving north from San Francisco and looking for a crab sandwich, forgetting it was Easter Sunday and most everything was closed. Fisherman's Cove was open and overflowing with people. They were polite and efficient and delivering food quickly. As I waited for my food and watched, I didn't see any unhappy customers.
The chowder was not the usual thick, sometimes gloppy stuff. It was thinner and had more clams in it than I have ever found in a chowder. It was also well-seasoned, had more flavor and was delicious. The crab sandwich had a good amount of crab, but was neither great nor bad. I love BBQ'd oysters and will try some they next time I go through there, but there were too many people waiting and I had miles to drive.
Best crab sandwich in years? Sea Harvest Fish Market & Restaurant in Crossroads Center in Carmel, CA - grilled rolled with some seasoning and lots of fresh crab.

Though we're glad you liked the chowder, it sounds like you weren't as impressed with our crab sandwich. We wish we could have wowed you, so let us know if you have any specific feedback, Nancy. Til then, we hope to have you back soon -- you're going to love those oysters!

Best,
Fisherman's Cove Team

Bodega Bay has become our favorite place to RV, and Fisherman's Cove has now become our favorite place for grilled oysters! Ordered the garlic butter oysters, brought them back to camp and devoured them in minutes! Will definitely eat in the little restaurant next time to try out their beer and wine selections too! (They serve the wine in adorable 1/2 pint canning jars).

Looks like we have two things in common, Nikki: We both love Bodega Bay, and we can't get enough oysters! Thanks for stopping by, and keep us in mind next time you're in town!

We stopped for an early lunch and loved it. Casual place, mostly fish and chips, tacos, and sandwiches. We had the fresh salmon tacos and crab sandwich. Were very impressed with both. A great stop during the day!

Fresh fish, prawns or just off the boat Salmon and chips cannot be beat in either quality or value for the buck. Atmosphere funky but fun. Service fast, friendly and fabulous. We had lunch there both days we were in the area. Great "off the beaten path" discovery.
