Just some locals at the bar and one other couple in the restaurant.
Food was average, not great. Draft beer a little expensive. Would probably not go back in the future if we were in the area.

Whilst travelling through the wine country on a road trip from Canada my wife and I stopped in Boonville around lunchtime feelig rather hungry after leaving Fort Bragg on the coast .Boonville was the first town after Fort Bragg that seemed to have a few decent restaurants. It was a lovely sunny day and although small the town was quite attractive. We looked into 3 other restaurants/cafes on the main street but none looked that appealing. We then saw the Boonville Lodge , a smart wooden building with wooden steps leading up to a verandah and front door. It looked expensive from the outside but we thought we would try it.

On entering we were warmly greeted by a very nice lady. The atmosphere, decor and surroundings were great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the lady who served us , i don't have her name but she originates from Seattle ,was excellent.

The food was wonderful, we had a brunch - I had an omlette and hash browns cooked to perfection and my wife had french toast and coffeee --she says its the best french toast she has had. The restaurant is very clean and modern, our table looked out on to some fields where horses were grazing, with the hills just behind - a lovely country scene. On a wet day guess not so scenic but thats the same anywhere.

The reataurant has a well stocked bar so would be good for evening meals, the prices were good for the surroundings, quality and service- not the cheapest but doubt if you would find anywhere equivalent for that in the area. Think ours cost about $30 for both of us.
We were thanked for coming . I think this is a fairly new restaurant otherwise it would have surely been on trip advisor before now. It was certainly by far the best restaurant we ate in during our 8 days trip in the States and should we ever pass through Boonville again we shall certainly eat there again.
