I have stayed at the Palms twice. It is quiet, relaxing, and remote with a friendly staff. I found it to be very reasonably priced. If you want a desert visit without the hundreds of thousands of tourists like Palm Springs I recommend this hotel. There is live music in town a few minutes away. The desert hiking is also excellent.
