“Great fun if you are in the area.”
Reviewed 29 June 2013

Great neighborhood bar for such a small place. Bartender, Patty, made us feel at home. Great jazz music on Tuesday night (no cover). Awesome bar menu includes lumpia (homemade Filipino mini-eggrolls), sea food cioppino, and, on Wednesdays, 50 cent wings. Entertainment almost every night - Karaoke on Wednesdays. Its over 160 years old, and the last "Mile Bar" in California.

“Try the sisig”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

FOOD:
The food here was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the sizzling sisig (pork meat, cheek, and liver served with an egg on top), and my wife liked the half-shell oysters.

SERVICE:
Service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

PRICE:
Our bill averaged out to around $20 per person.

“Hidden Jewel”
Reviewed 22 March 2013 via mobile

where do i begin should i begin with the friendly people that frequent this small family style bar and grill, or begin with the awesome karaoke & live band ensemble that can play all your problems away. nope i think I'll start with the bar and the drinks that are cheap in price yet score a ten in value & quality. i recommend the sun drop lemon mixed drink. it is served with a fire flame atop! Next, the grill of amazing, affordable, too much for one person food. the seven mile burger is delicious and big, it looks seven miles stacked high with cheese, beef patties, and all the trimmings. I recommend this place before three to dine for families, after three pm it is strictly an adult playground.

“Unique”
Reviewed 10 March 2013

Was staying at the Radisson in Brisbane and checked Tripadvisor for the best restaurant around. The 7 Mile House popped up. Drove over on a rainy Tuesday evening and parked down the street. As mentioned in prior reviews, nothing is really inviting about the 7 Mile from the outside. There was a live jazz band playing when I walked in and the place was probably 80- 90% full. The menu has a Filipino flair to it which really struck me as bizarre...only because of the jazz music playing... I ordered a Pork Adobe Quesedilla, a beer, and a basket of Garlic fries. Prices were simply...CHEAP. The service staff was spread a little thin, but they were very nice and even comped me on the fries. Food was above average for a 'bar', and the live music was a bonus. Ambiance was very interesting if perhaps a bit downscale. I enjoyed myself.
