Recently got discounts from Restaurant.com and began searching there list. I selected Prizzis in Burbank as that we have friends in Burbank and they have never been there. Made a reservation although did not say that I needed one. When we got there a table was was reserved for me.Nice atmosphere and the waiter was terrific, food was plentiful. I ordered the Chicken Parm and when it arrived I knew I would be needing a box. I am a transplant from NY and I know a good sauce when I taste it and this was very good. Order the garlic sticks ( 4 long pieces) with the marinara sauce. Good Italian food and priced fairly.

We were staying at the Tangerine Hotel and ate here two nights of our stay. The first night our waiter was Adam Zolotin, an actor that has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows. We had a blast sitting at the sidewalk table enjoying wine and fantastic italian food. The second night was just as good. I found the prices were reasonable and the food quantity filling.

Having been a frequent denizen of the old Prizzi's on Franklin in Hollywood, I was so hopeful that the new Prizzi's in Burbank would rekindle an old flame. It was not to be. The new Prizzi's is more sports bar than creative hangout. There is none of the quirky design that epitomized the prior location, and the service (albeit on a holiday weekend) was indifferent. Most importantly, the food is highly variable and the pizza, formerly one of the best anywhere, is now bland and doughy. The only signature dish remaining are the garlic sticks, but even they lack the delicious saturation of olive oil from before.

TIt's probably a good place for studio employees to grab a decent lunch, but it's by no means the highly personal destination of before.

Good food, friendly staff, a little pricey for Italian but overall worth it. We ended up eating here two nights in a row and everything we had was great.
