I've passed by this little, off the beaten track cafe for a number of years and always thought I'd like to try it out. I finally did (with the prompting of an expiring deal voucher!), and was quite pleased I did. The place is a bit quirky but the outside dining was like eating on your own patio, only with someone serving you. I had the Fish & Chips, which were perfectly battered and fried (these have been a disappointment many times). The desserts were limited, but very reasonably priced.

Chose this place because of the rave reviews on TA, but was disappointed. The owner was very nice but my steak was tough and hard to chew. Only like 7 tables inside and it's BYOB. Quaint but not great.

Love to take visitors from out of town to this unpretentious cafe. The food is California-Chic, healthy with a flair. Seating inside is limited and a bit noisy. Sitting outside however is perfect for vacationers or people wanting a private area to discuss business.

Riverside Cafe is a great place to visit. One of the best things is it's far far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Whatever you pick from the menu will be excellent. The staff treats you like family, even if it's your first time there. One cannot go wrong eating here.
