Chose hotel on basis of revews on trip advisor. This is a summary of good and not so good points;

Good looking hotel that looks new and modern. Had a 2 bedroom (smaller size) apartment that adequately catered for our family of 5. 2 bathrooms was a big positive for a family with teenagers as was the 3 flat screen tv's. Our room was facing side street and did not encounter any problems with outside street noise or noise from adjoining rooms. We stayed for 4 nights and i would rate housekeeping as good.

On the negative side reports of noisy airconditioning are very true. We were lucky in that we did not need to run aircon for long periods of time as it would have been impossible to sleep with that noise.

Quality of breakfast is poor and Hotel closes breakfast down at 9am on weekdays. I have never heard of such an early finish time for breakfast however after making the effort to get up early one day we decided we were not missing much and didn't bother there after. Breakfast area is very tight.

Hotel doesn't have a restaurant however many food outlets in the area will provide delivery to your room. It is about a 10-15min walk to downtown shopping area.

The Burbank area that Hotel is situated in is serviced by a cab company called city cab. We were ripped off by a cab driver on our first trip from the hotel so I would suggest caution if you are a tourist and to get a quote up front for the approx cost of your trip or use an alternative private transport company. I do not blame Hotel for this situation and they were most apologetic after it occurred. After making a complaint to the cab company they refunded the amount overcharged which was appreciated.

Overall a fairly good experience.

We had a beautiful pool side room, the decor was very nice. There was a large flat panel TV on the dresser that faced the bed or could swivel around to face the sitting area. There was no typical restaurant on the premises but a large buffet was available for breakfast. The food was plentiful but was the same every day with no variety. Sunday- Wednesday nights was a social with free dinner. We were there for two of those nights and enjoyed soup and salad on Tuesday with beer and wine, and a pool side cookout on Wednesday. The pool was pretty small, but was heated. We didn't take advantage of this but there is a local delivery service that will pick up carryout for you at several participating restaurants and deliver to your room for a small fee. There was a kitchen in the room with a dishwasher, full sized fridge and a two burner stovetop. there are cooking utensils as well. The location is excellent, within walking distance to an IMAX movie theater and an indoor mall, lots of restaurants and shops. And not to forget the free wifi! Parking was a fee $15/day.

This fairly new Residence Inn has all the clean rooms, fresh furnishings you would expect from a new Residence Inn. The place has a nice, comfortable energy. Definately stay here. The room was great and that is the most important thing to me. Made use of the complimentary PC-with-Internet access in the lobby several times and the very clean laundry room (after having a laundry emergency).

A few nits... you do have to pay to park.... other nearby hotels don't charge for parking. The breakfast buffet was minimal, all you got was eggs & cheese omelettes for the "egg" option for instance. Other Residence Inns have also had scrambled eggs and hardboiled. I complained to management and the manager said that they comply with minimum Residence Inn requirements (I guess Marriott only requires egg/cheese omelette :-) ). Any manager looking to "get away with" the minimum, does not get my vote of approval. Since each room has a full kitchen, we went to the nearby Ralph's, bought food, and had breakfast in the room from then on.

This is a lovely, new Residence Inn, but with a couple of recommendations to improve your stay! Rooms on all floors numbered 201-215 for example, odd numbers on each floor, border I-5, and they are noisy. They even put in triple pane windows, but its still bothersome. Running the air conditioner or fan all nite helps. We tried to change rooms, but there was no availability.
The breakfasts are lovely, and the buffets Mon/Tue and Wed nites are great! even a BBQ on Wednesday nites by the pool.
Its a little dicey to charge $15 nite to park after what we paid for the room. No hot tub, but there is a nice pool.

Stayed for one week for training. Good location, weird though that we cannot park in front of the hotel even just to check in, you have to park first at the lot and then check in. Unless you catch someone coming out/going in with the hotel key to open the side doors, you will have to walk around the building to get into the lobby (if you parked outside) or you will have to go through the down parking.
walking distance to downtown Burbank, restaurants, bars etc
very spacious rooms, new hotel, so everything was in good shape
for some reason, TV volume could only be set at a certain volume, probably not to disturb other guests in connecting rooms.
nice breakfast and evening socials, although not too much space to eat, if the hotel is busy, people had to eat on the stairs (well, kids mainly, but still)
there is a parking fee

I've stayed at various Residence Inn branches of Marriott, but this one was farely new. This hotel features modern decor (Hollywood theme) with comfortable furniture and a very NICE Marriott Bed. The kitchen was modern with all the necessary tools but no oven. I used the kitchen and it works very well. The bathroom is clean with typical Marriott settings. The staff is friendly and is very accomodating. The best was the delicious breakfast foods that they serve to all guests.

Great place to stay. The location is ideal close to dinning options and a shopping mall. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The evening social hour was good for a light dinner but i wish it was 5 days a week. The hotel is pricey enough they should at least not charge for parking. Make sure you look over your final bill when you check out I was charged $40. for phone calls I never made(used my cell only) The front desk staff corrected the charge. Over all good experience
