After multiple stays at Calistoga Ranch, this is where I got married. It was amazing. The property, staff and service are just mind blowing. Serenity doesn't begin to describe how peaceful and quite this property is.
It is my understanding that each cabin was lowered down by helicopter as to not disturb the surrounding woods. While there are many units in close proximity, the property's design is such that each cabin is a private space.
The restaurant is exclusive and worth a visit. You can only dine here if you're staying on the property. This is the only reason that it doesn't have at least one Michelin star. The lounge is serene and beautiful, and located on a deck with a spectacular view.
There is a hiking trail that everyone should take advantage of as well, but a walk around the property will satisfy most.
There are few places that compare to Calistoga Ranch and likely none that are better.
