some special wines that you don't find in other wine place around the area. The tour is charged 34$ but it is worthy and you get a 1h45m experience in an Italian medieval replica castle

Visited this as part of a tour organised in San Francisco. It was by far the best of the 3 locations visited in Napa Valley. This castle is really something to behold - built/reconstructed with bricks and material from Europe that was all transported over and built using techniques and craftsmen from Europe.

The tour was really good ...so after seeing the church, main dining room and courtyard we headed on down through the 4 basement floors seeing all the cellars and barrel rooms all the while being regaled and entertained by the tour guide.

Finished off in a subterranean bar where we got to taste 10 out of 16 wines provided for the tasting. As it was in a group of 18 people there was lots of laughs and was great fun. I'd recommend this as a must see ...by far the most impressive location I've seen and the wines were superb as well.

Castello Di Amorosa was a wonderful place to visit. I called to see if we needed reservations and i was told its better to make a reservation as the place fills up. (We decided to walk in for a reservation rater than book over the phone). Turns out that reservations would have been a better bet as we had to wait about 30 min to get on the next open reservation as we arrived as a walk in.

The guided tour was definitely worth the wait!!! Joe, our tour guide was funny and he involved the guests on the tour, he asked names and where people were from and he referred to the guests names and places that they were from throughout the tour. The caves, the history about the castle and its origins and the historical pieces throughout the castle were fantastic! The grounds of the castle provide a great view and many opportunities for pictures.

The gift shops were very large & a little pricey. The $4 chocolate is only 2 pieces.

The Italian bar tender is the most racist guy I ever seen. Advice Asians to get away from this place.

This replica of an authentic Italian site is well worth the price and visit. One will not be disappointed in the winery, the tour, the selection of wares in the gift shop or the grounds.
