Great place, the lodges are amazing and beautifully presented. Having a one star restaurant on site was amazing too - when we turned up the special was Southern chicken, we were a little sceptical but when it arrived you understood why the chef had the star! Breakfasts were epic too... We had a bit of a problem with the wine tour that had been sorted out for us but Hugh in reception managed to get everything sorted out for us...

Overall - a great place, can't recommend enough...

What a wonderful resort. A great restaraunt with a wonderful California style Bar thats always crowded with wonderful characters from the valley. The rooms have super comfortable beds, with a great big dark stone shower...

A must stay for us when we travel to visit friends in Napa...

Our second stay at Solage was just as wonderful as our first. Everything about the place is understated and elegant - without being pretentious in the least. The studios are spacious, quiet and tastefully decorated. Best is the total sense of privacy you have once you are inside. We especially enjoy the excellent service at the hotel. Everyone was incredibly genuine --- from the front desk, to the spa attendants and restaurant staff --- no attitude and very gracious in their efforts to help. The restaurant Solbar is excellent --- for both breakfast and dinner (my only criticism is the breakfast prices are a bit steep but the quality of the food makes up for it). We enjoyed spa treatments as well as relaxing in the geothermal pools and on our last visit - we loved taking the cruiser bikes provided into town for a bite. We especially enjoy the location of the property being close to both Calistoga and to the gateway of northern Sonoma/Napa valleys for winetasting and exploring. All in all - a great experience and we will be back.

The hotel is super cool and everything is beautiful. The whole resort has an amazing chilled out feel to it. Restauarants are fantastic and the staff are extremely professional. The spa is out of this world. The only downside is that it is a fair walk from Calistoga and there is no shuttle service offered by the hotel. The local taxi service charges a bomb if you want to go out for dinner without a car there really is no other option.

Second time returning to this excellent spa and hotel. We upgraded this time from one bedroom to one bedroom suite. Both were better than expected with plenty of room and out of this world beds. The bathroom were not only roomy but very luxurious. Staff is very helpful and will do anything you ask. The spa and bathhouse are very clean and have lots of staff to meet your needs. I would recommend the "Mud Slide" and soak in the natural mineral pools. The solbar restaurant is a gourmet experience not to be missed. We will return again.

Since it's the first week of spring, we promised our doggies for a hiking holiday. Unfortunately it was a week of deluge. We needed a spot that we won't mind not being outdoors, will welcome the doggies, have Spa activities for the human and have good food. Solage met all our expectation. We booked the room on the day of arrival, we had requested arrangement of the the Spa treatment and restaurant reservation. Both were taken care of by the time we checked in eventhough both were fully booked otherwise. Solage treated the dogs just like any other well behave kids with responsible parents, with comfortable beds and no long list of "don'ts". The room and grounds are eco-friendly with native plants and meant to blend the indoor to the outdoor. The rain actually added to the ambience. The Spa treatment is professional and relaxing. Floating on the geothermal pool and watching the sky changes from rainy/cloudy to peeks of blue is lovely. THe studio we are in are attached to another, however, in between there is a housekeeping "storage/electrical" area that essentially isolates the rooms to ensure soundproofness. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Solbar restaurant with fantastic food and service. All personnel we met are helpful and solicitous. It is a wonderful stay and we will be back.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a Valentine's Weekend stay at the beautiful Solage Calistoga!

We have stayed at many high-end resorts but the staff at Solage is absolutely amazing! From the second we arrived till the time we exited the property, the staff could NOT have been kinder or more attentive.

EVERY SINGLE ONE of the employees was so very polite and caring and never failed to greet us with a smile…morning, noon and night.

We dined in the highly regarded Solbar Restaurant for breakfast all three days we were there and dinner one evening. Fabulous food! All so fresh and creatively prepared. Solbar is obviously a favorite with the locals as well so, if you go, be sure to make reservations well in advance.

World-class wine tasting is literally all around the hotel. Rombauer was our favorite and just down the road from Solage.

My wife decided that she is going to live there and asked me to go back to San Diego to get the dog and come back to the hotel!

We could not provide a stronger recommendation.
