We stayed in this hotel as a couple and I could not have been more impressed. We were there for two nights over a weekend in August to celebrate a friend's birthday and visit wineries. The property is serene and feels very private and the rooms were very large and comfortable with seating both indoors and out. We stayed in room 42 and it happened to be the wheelchair accessible room and it was very accommodating with extra-wide doorways and a seat that folded down in the shower. These weren't features we used but it was nice to see they were available. My favorite discovery in the room was a full-sized coffee machine with a canister of coffee grounds and a bottle of fresh cream in the refrigerator. It was so nice to make a "real" cup of coffee in the morning.

The staff at this hotel was so warm and friendly. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was very approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. The lady that cleaned our room had a giant tricycle with a basket on the back for her cleaning supplies. She saw us leaving one morning and came over and asked if it would be a good time for her to clean. So nice to have a clean room to come to after breakfast.

One of my favorite features of this property was that we could borrow a house car. They had several Mercedes to choose from and I just had to complete a short form and we could use the car for up to four hours. One morning we used the car to drive into town and have breakfast. Of course, we were disappointed that the food in town wasn't quite as good as what we'd had at Sol Bar, but it was so nice to have a car to borrow. There were also two bikes that we were free to use and it is easy to bike to downtown Calistoga.

We didn't use the spa but did walk through and it was beautiful and has an amazing reputation.

Can't wait to come back to this beautiful, friendly place!

We stayed for three nights and did a couples mudslide. Resort was beautiful, staff was first class and attentive with very prompt service. Rooms were very well done. Was able to take advantage of their Mercedes loaner program so that was fun too. Great location. Would stay again. Food at Solbar was terrific. Very attentive waiter for dinner. Service has some slipups at our breakfast but nothing too bad. Spa staff was wonderful.

We stayed two nights, breakfast in the room was great, treatments for both of us were very nice and of course Sol Bar restaurant on their site is awesome for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely come back. Thank you.

We come here to get away and spa..sometimes just for a full spa day or overnight.. Little casitas are sleek and modern without being cold. The pools are nice.. Gym good , bikes provided.. Spa is the gem.. Has it own pool.. His and her clothing optional pools and spa ..or big joint pool. Mudslide treatment for couples is super..done it many times and always enjoy.. Spa shop has nice things and none of it is over the top.. Calistoga is sleepy w nothing too great there. When you need to unwind..this is your spot.. Come w another couple.. Leave kids home..

We just left Solage Calistoga after a 4-day stay and look back at our stay with extremely fond memories. We liked it so much that we even extended our stay.

This is really an exceptional place: very beautiful property, large and very comfortable studios, fab pool area, and most of all exceptionally friendly service. Nothing is too much asked for the staff at reception. They're always there with help on restaurants, wineries etc.

It's clear, we loved our stay and will certainly be back!
