Again we have come to this amazing place! It's our 3rd year in a row and words cannot describe our experience here.
Peter and Felipe go above and beyond to make our,and all of their guests feel like they are special.
Of course I MUST comment on the breakfast as it is unsurpassed in anything I have found .
Felipe is the crem de la crem of chefs.
Please enjoy this amazing place.
We will, for years to come!!!

We stayed in Chateau de Vie for 4 nights in Mid-June; I selected this place solely based on great reviews here and was expecting something exceptional but my expectations were greatly exceeded
Many people speak about friendly owners - but they are not just friendly, - they treat you like a close family (thank you, Peter)
Many people speak about great food - but it's not just great thanks to Phillip, - every meal becomes a happening when multiplied by Phillip's undivided attention and insanely beautiful scenary.
We liked just hanging by the pool and looking at the mountains so much we did not go to wineries that much (and yes, we do have a pool at home)
This place is just a fairy tale for people who don't belive in fairy tails anymore...

Peter and Phillip make the Chateau de Vie the most warm, welcoming and FUN! place to stay. Absolutely not one single detail is left out of this magnificent B&B. The breathtaking views, immaculate home, delicious breakfasts on the patio every morning and impeccable service by every single person is simply amazing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. I'll be back soon...!

Having spent a weekend here, it's easy to see why CDV has an almost unblemished string of 5-star reviews. The setting is perfect for relaxing (as we did) or for touring wineries, while the room was probably the most comfortable in which we stayed during a tour of California, the coffee outside the room in the morning was a great touch, and the breakfasts - particularly when served in the garden - were perfect. Numerous little but well-thought out touches, such as rather clever window blinds, incredibly comfortable robes, and a welcome basket featuring re-fillable water bottles. The hosts are sufficiently attentive without being overbearing, leaving us free to feel relaxed and at ease.

Room Tip: I would imagine any of them would be a good room

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Chateau de Vie. So special and beyond all expectations. I cannot wait to return soon! Philipe was more than welcoming upon our arrival offering us wine, a beautiful cheese plate, snacks, a tour, restaurant recommendations, and spectacular conversation. I could listen to his stories all night.
You cannot beat the location. Enjoy the wine when you visit. It will be winning awards someday soon. The home is covered in ivy sitting on the most gorgeous views with the lush green mountains. The pool and hot tub are tucked away. We were lucky enough to have a picture perfect weather at night for a dip under the stars. Breakfast was magnificent. Again, this was one of my favorite B & B's I have stayed at.
