Enthusiastic volunteers. They gave a great tour. Allow about an hour. Many planes and memorabilia to view. Can enter some of the planes.

One of the best small aviation museums on the West Coast. Operates as the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force. Good model collection but main feature is that the museum's focus is on flyable airplanes, not static displays. I especially enjoyed the B-25 and their Navy planes. The Commemorative Air Force HQ is in Texas with chapters across the U.S. Camarillo Website = http://www.cafsocal.com/. Very nice place to stop and visit. About 20 planes on display including Japanese and German ones from WWII. You can also get a ride in a fighter for 20 min. Forget the price by the men in our family have that on their wish list. Tour guy was very nice and knew his stuff.

Center of the Commemorative Air Force on the West Coast. This is a Flying museum featuring several unique WW-II aircraft including a Japanese Zero, British Spitfire and several USN fighters (Hellcat and Bearcat).

I took my Uncle who loves this kind of thing. I became so interested. Lots of hands on. Very kind volunteers willing to tell you everything about the displays. Really worth having the guide. Kids get special attention. We spent three hours because a spitfire took off and landed but we were busy in between. Great photo opt!!
