The rooms here are very large and comfortable and clean. They were undergoing refurbishments and there was digging going on so it was a bit noisy. Near to the outlets and some restaurants. Pool area a bit small but was open and hubby enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was very nice in a room across from reception. Plenty to choose - cereals, oatmeal, yoghurt, fruit, fresh waffles, toast, eggs, bagels....what more could you want. I would definitely stay in this Inn again.

If a quiet and clean room is your primary criteria, this place fits the bill. A bonus, it is within 5 minutes of the Outlets --if you are into shopping.

Breakfast was nothing fancy, it is after all less than a business class hotel so one does not expect one. Have low expectations and you will not be let down.

Room Tip: ask the receptionist for the key to your room, prior to agreeing to it. A quiet room may still face...

Nice quaint location. Close to highway 101 but too far for the dreaded freeway noise. A little tricky to find; I didn't see the entrance signs at first.
Very nice grounds, Pleasant staff on check in/out. Spring for the upgrade for a suite for a lot more room and an awesome tub; it's totally worth it.
Typical free freakfast offering. Very reasonable prices. Some restaurants are within walking distance and there's a lot of places for shopping nearby including an Outlet Mall.

A very good location, a helpful and a friendly staff. The young asian guy at the front desk was great. The room as VERY large and clean. He gave us the room very early which was a good indication of helpfullness and good service.

Rooms could use bit of updating though - nothing major. Just something to make it look a bit more fresh. It was fun but a bit odd that there was a LONG granite counter by the bathroom but there was no sink there. So kind of a double vanity - just the basin was missing.

The breakfast room indeed is ridiculously small as other reviewers indicated but breakfast was what you usually get in a BW - totally acceptable.

Definitely recommended for a budget stay.

Enjoyed a take out salad from Coco's excellent cobb salad after a day at the fairgrounds in Ventura for the home and garden show. Easy to find hotel close to freeway and gas station. Staff friendly and met our requests even had a welcome dog biscuit for Marie. Lots of breakfast choices to start the day . Rooms very clean no pet odor, linens fresh and clean towels. .

On the one hand, this inn could rate an "excellent" (the Good). But, because of some significant problems, it might warrant a "poor" (the Bad). When we checked in, we were very pleased with the spacious, comfortable and entirely liveable room. Even thought it was only a Coco's parking lot away from the busy US101 freeway, it was very quiet. All the amenities were in place.
Then, the niggling little problems began to appear. The sink stopper would not open far enough to allow free drainage of the sink. The shower curtain was too short to keep shower spray inside; the dual-control faucets were very difficult to manipulate to allow a reasonable shower temperature. The California-legislature-mandated low-flow toilet flush really didn't do a good job getting rid of waste material. The mattress appeared to be nice and firm, but after spending a couple of hours lying on it, it actually was TOO firm. The breakfast was adequate, but the breakfast room was tiny - it might accommodate 6 people, at best. When you have a group of high school soccer tournament kids staying at the motel, it doesn't work.
I was prepared to give this property a definite "excellent', but as the problems added up, the rating got lower and lower.
P.S. There was no "ugly".

Room Tip: Corner rooms, like 219, offer lots of space and comfort.
