Cozy atmosphere, delicious food. My husband loved his short ribs and my catfish was excellent. Cambria has a lot of good restaurants so it is a difficult choice ... but this is recommended.

Had never been to Cambria before. We stumbled upon this place as we were walking around. We're concerned as no one else was there. It was early and sure enough people with reservations came in.
The bread is baked in a flower pot. Served nice and warm. Portions were very generous. The hostess was very friendly.
I would go again.

Given the lack of dining at San Simeon, Cambria is the first southbound stop where you have a choice of restaurant. It's a charming little down with what appear to be many good eateries, but we picked the Sow's Ear and were not disappointed. Not fancy, but wonderful ambiance and just plain good food. Similar to an earlier experience in Mariposa, California (near Yosemite), we found ourselves saying "Wow, who knew that this small town could offer such a treat. The beef stroganoff is highly recommended; no cheap, tough bits of meat anywhere on the plate, which is sometimes the case. Wonderful service, and because you are not in 'Frisco, there is still something left in the wallet when you are done.

We had our anniversary meal here and were not disappointed with the food or service.
The prices are a bit high, but for a special meal we can recommend this restaurant. I had seafood, and my wife had top sirloin. Both were delicious.
We had the Cinnamon Bread Pudding for dessert, and it was great.

Food is average at best and over priced. Don't get the catfish as is is absolutely horrible. The service is slow and the place is tiny and crowded.
