We stayed at the Cambria Pines Lodge for four nights (with a Travel zoo special), and ate at the restaurant for two nights. Let me say, the best part was our very friendly waitresses and sitting outside. Unfortunately, that's it....the food is completely tasteless. We had the salmon, mahi-mahi, swordfish and scallops. All were totally bland. With Morro Bay right next door, this should not be the case. The vegetables, rice and mashed potatoes also lacked flavor. The saying "you get what you pay for" rang true. The dinners were free, and that's exactly what they were worth.
Sorry Cambria Pines, you get it right in so many ways, but not when it comes to your food.
