Arriving in Cambria hungry after a long drive, we chose Main Street Grill for both its convenient location and the fact we had eaten there last year. While a bit pricey, the large portions and the fact that Cambria is a tourist attraction in itself both redeemed it. My wife & I ordered 'The Pig' which is a barbeque pork sandwich. We added a small side of fries and this was enough to feed both of us. When the sandwich was served, the pork was already smothered in bar-b-que sauce. It would have been nice to have it on the side in order to taste the flavor of the seasoned pork. The small side of fries was plentiful and together with the one sandwich was enough to feed both of us.

The Grill can be a little off putting when you first walk in the door but hang in there you won't be sorry. The Grill is quintessential Central Cal Coast cuisine. Tri-tip steak sandwiches, ribs, burgers chicken. My favorite is the Steak Cob salad! Eat in, on the patio or order to go. The patio is doggie friendly too!

We recently spent two nights in Cambria and were looking for a place to eat dinner that was casual, had good food and was actually open for dinner. Many eateries in Cambria are closed for dinner, unless you want pizza or an expensive dinner.
We found Main Street Grill on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try.
The restaurant has a casual, youthful, sports bar vibe, but even these two senior citizens felt right at home there. The ordering is done at the counter and then your number is called when the order is ready.
I ordered the barbequed tri-tip sandwich and hubby ordered the fish and chips. The sandwich (on a garlic toasted roll) was huge, very tender and delicious. The fish and chips were also very good, didn't taste "fishy" and the accompanying fries were really good. We usually drink water with our meals and heeded the warnings of previous reviewers about the charge for a cup of ice, so we took in our own bottles of water. No problem.
We will definitely be returning when in the area again!

This place has a very good grilled food, I order pork ribs with beans and a Caesars salad, my wife order a pork sandwich; booth dishes were great, well cooked and seasoned.

This is a family favorite! We eat here every time we pass through Cambria. We go out of our way if we're even near it. The food is great! You'll smell the grill going when you get within a block. The meat is to die for. Fish is great too.
