Stayed here for 2 nights for a company trip (they accommodated about 40 of us) and even though it was a bit quiet, we got to focus on skiing/snowboarding, plus got a quiet nights in the hotel reception/bar/library. Great, friendly service from all the staff, plus a well-stocked, reasonably priced shop which sells food, drinks, souvenirs, last minute ski gear and a few other essentials.
The food in the fusion restaurant was fairly good, mainly centred around Chinese cuisine, some Western and not much Japanese, but it was good enough for before hitting the slopes and after.
Clean, well-designed rooms that aren't too small, but not too big either. The bathroom is small, but good enough to get whatever you need done. The heating is slightly adjustable, but you can always crack open the window if it gets too hot.
Overall, a good ski resort for skiing and not much else (like, not much of a party scene and a fairly "older" average).More
