We stayed there for a month during this summer. One Niseko is a little bit far from everything else. It's a 15-20 min drive to the nearest supermarket and town. Our room was reasonably big with a nice kitchenette. WIFI reception was quite good in the room. Room pricing is a bit complicated so it pays to check carefully. Prices vary depending on size and type of room, season, length of stay, service, meals and air-con. The breakfast is quite basic.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the main entrance could be noisy in the mornings as people leave the hotel.

First time to Niseko and stayed here for two nights. The location is a little far away from the downtown. But it's not a problem if you travel with a car. From the website, it looks like a hotel with design. However, the design is limited to lobby only. The room decoration is normal but the space is huge. It has kitchen and table for you to buy dinner from super market. The breakfast is simple and enough. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at King studio with tatami area room type. The room was so big and we really liked the comfy Japanese tatami area. This hotel also provides full kitchenette so we had a chance to have home cook for a night. The closest supermarket is in Kutchan, 20 mins away by car.

Also, what I like about this hotel is that there is an onsen located in 3rd floor of the west wing. Well, it is not the best onsen, but it is something relaxing after meal

We stayed over for 2 short nights in spring and wished we could stay here longer. In addition to the usual descriptions of the room size and facilities that many other reviewers have written, I would describe this place as the ideal location to have a quiet, peaceful retreat from the busy, stressful city. It's tucked away in a nice part of Niseko, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush greenery. Accessibility is not a problem, just be sure to email the staff in advance to reserve seats on their complimentary shuttle to and from the JR station.

We liked this place because it's close to nature. We woke up to an early dawn and were treated to a sight of a mountain range covered by morning mist. In addition to the surrounding natural landscape, it was a nice surprise to know there is a small park within walking distance that has a natural spring of drinking water which is probably the freshest water I've ever had thus far.

We did not have to worry about meal options as there is an on-site restaurant in One Niseko and we discovered 2 other establishments within walking distance that had restaurants. We were grateful that One Niseko practices the policy of including a wholesome and hearty breakfast in the room rate, and breakfasts did not disappoint. A definite bonus point for One Niseko Resort Towers is its complimentary shuttle service to a dairy heaven, otherwise known as Milk Kobo. This shuttle service by the resort is especially useful during non-peak season, when the other winter bus routes cease.

Although Niseko is better known for being a winter destination, spring offers a good opportunity to come here and enjoy some downtime, preferably with a good book to read while enjoying the refreshing mountain view and crisp air from the balcony. We were glad that we decided to come to One Niseko even though it was not for skiing or winter activity.

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of the season but we liked it so much we decided to stay another night. The room was totally self-contained and for the price was top value. Unfortunately the ski-field next to the resort was still closed (Moiwa) so had to take the complimentary bus into Hirafu which has all the bigger resorts. If self-catering is on the agenda, one would have to stock up in the village which doesn't have any supermarkets, just a convenience store and a recently (at the time) opened deli type of store just down from the convenience store. I'd recommend stocking up somewhere larger if you can, before going to this area. The hot-spring bath (with open air bath as well) was totally awesome, being modern and airy. I was impressed with the complimentary bus service. They had misunderstood my instructions to pick me up at Hirafu, however, upon hearing this they sent out a car to pick me up right away.

We stayed at One Niseko Resort in summer 2013 for 2 nights. It seems during the ski season you have a 5 night min stay but only a 2 night min stay in off season.

We were astounded by the size of the self contained apartment, complete with fully functional kitchen, bathroom, entrance... it was a very pleasant stay and we wished we had stayed longer as there was much to explore around the area (we had hired a car in Hakodate) and to come home to this beautiful apartment at the end of the day was bliss.

To the contributor Eric from Massachusetts, USA who gave One Niseko Resort a scathing review, you obviously don't know much about travelling/ self contained apartments etc... to expect a 'bellboy' and to expect maid service when you book self catering apartments is laughable... but to critisize a Japanese place, in Japan for not having enough signs in English, just highlights your own arrogance and insensitivity. Conversely, the reply that Eric received back from One Niseko apologising for not being up to his standards, shows the true essence of Japanese humility and manners... One Niseko, you had nothing to apologise about.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at a lovely apartment with very special staff members... 5 stars!!

Liked: huge, premium suite; breakfast buffet; small spa; views, good kitchen.
Niggles: location, 20 min from Hirafu village and the shops/bars/restaurants; no wine glasses in the kitchen?; TV remote no info about which button for language change.
There is a small shop in the lobby of basic food stuffs.
Room service rates for food were surprisingly good.
Staff were friendly.
Yes - you do wheel your own luggage to the rooms.....
