Thought it would be suitable for our 12 year old grandson but were mistaken. Took two rides and gave up. The Models are very interesting

I have been here several times. Perfect for younger kids. I bought a hopper ticket with a free return trip. So we went on a Monday and Tuesday. Neither day was overly crowded . We did the Chima water park on Monday and there was plenty of chairs and space. I went to regular Lego land on Tuesday, and it was OK. You can bring in your own food and drinks, no glass bottles. Technically, according to signs, bigger wheeled coolers are no allowed. If it can be carried as a backpack then they allow it. Don't know why, that's what the staff said. So, to avoid hassles, get a wheel one with backback or shoulder straps to gt through the main gate, then put it down and use the wheels. A Legoland hack to be used to your advantage. Strollers of all sizes and shapes are allowed. We also ate at the pizza and pasta Buffett. It is free for kids with each paying adult after 5pm. It will save a few bucks and the food is very good.

We met up with our family for a couple of days at Legoland. There were 13 of us, with children ranging from age 4 to 8--perfect ages for this resort. We spent the first day at Legoland and the second day at the water park, aquarium and back to Legoland to revisit some of the favorite rides. Two days is perfect to experience everything at a reasonable pace.
The rides and other attractions were great. The kiddos were all tall enough to experience everything in the park. We were there on a Tuesday and Wednesday in late June. Lines didn't seem too bad. The longest wait times were around 30 minutes.
There is a good variety of rides geared to the advertised ages of 3-12. Teens probably wouldn't enjoy it at much.
The kids had fun trading Lego figures with the staff throughout the park.
Food within the park was good, with a decent variety and enough healthy options to meet the needs of most families. The Granny Apple Fries are tasty and worth a try.
We stayed at the Legoland Hotel, which was the perfect addition to the trip and almost as fun as the park.
The water park is excellent with great variety for all ages.
Our only issue was with the reservation process. Because of our large group, we had to make reservations over the phone. The agent had a tough time getting everything entered correctly into the system with our hotel rooms, add-ons, etc. Apparently, it's not very user friendly and even the supervisor was struggling to make it all work. Took much, much longer than it should have. Other than that, everything about this trip was perfect!

First off we would like to apologize for your booking journey, we will be sure to share this information with the appropriate parties to work on improving our reservation system to accommodate larger parties. I was happy to see we weren't to crowded being Summer and 30 minutes was the max height. We appreciate your visit with us and hope you can return in the near future. Have a great day.

Legoland us great for younger kids about 10 and under. The park was clean and not overly crowded. Fun for a day or two. Food options are much better than expected for a theme park.
